Meltham Makers Market

Lots of talented crafters & scarecrows - yay!

A massive ‘thank you’ to my bestie, Amanda, who brought a huge tin of seaglass for me this weekend. This little haul came from Northumberland.

The different piles took me an hour to sort into colours which are a good representation of the more commonly found colours as well as some of the rarer finds (like the bottle stopper and the orange piece).
Now I need to spend an hour or so sorting it all into size and shape.

These are 2 wedding pictures I worked on for one of my customers. She had 2 weddings to go to and wanted a different design for each wedding.

I’m always happy to work on customer ideas - I like the challenge of coming up with something a bit different & I’m happy to say my client was pleased with the results

Wedding pictures - £25 each

My first, completed, New Baby picture. Celebrating the safe arrival of Elizabeth (Libby).
I can personalise these pictures with any colour heart (so you can coordinate with the nursery). The flying stork will have personalised basket ribbons as well as the new arrivals details.

The pictures are £22 and come in their own box.

I have donated one (in memory of my dad who was a rabbit lover) in the hope that it raises much needed funds for this charity who rescue and re home abandoned bunnies.

This Sunday I will be at Upperthong Village Hall with my Easter makes. This is a lovely event and has a special place, in my heart, as it was my very first craft fair venue when I started out with my seaglass creations.

All set up Royds Mill Mirfield Lots of stalls and there’s even an indoor bouncy castle for the kids, with TV screens, so you can keep an eye on them whilst you browse the many stalls.

This is where I’ll be today - there used to be an indoor bouncy castle and stalls on several levels.

Support local this weekend and join us at our Spring Fayre for lots of unique and wonderful Mother’s Day and Easter gifts!

There’s no need to brave the White Rose Centre, or give Jeff Bezos wallet an undeserved boost - with over 20 stalls on Saturday and over 30 stalls on Sunday there is sure to be something for everyone!

PLUS the bouncy castles will be up so the kids can burn off some energy you browse the stalls - while you can relax knowing that you can still keep an eye on them with our 50 inch TV screens streaming exactly what they’re doing!

I was asked to work on a picture for the impending arrival of a baby girl. Name and date to be added but it’s given me some inspiration for a ‘New Baby’ range which I’m working on this week. I will post more pictures once I’ve finessed my ideas.
