Family friendly event in the park this October half term!

There will be seasonal craft activities, conker games, Qigong and homemade food and hot refreshments. We will have shelters in case of bad weather. All Welcome 💚

Many thanks to the volunteers from S2R Create Space for helping to look after the park. They've been cleaning out the gullies around the paths, cutting back the bushes around the benches and picking up litter 🙌

Birkby Community Wildlife Garden is having an activity session to erect a brand new blackboard and do some general tidying of paths and clearing around young saplings, such as this lovely hazel. Saturday 27th July, 11.00 to 2.00 pm Come and join in or just have a chat and enjoy the space!

Many thanks to the team from Huddersfield Town Foundation for volunteering their time this week to help look after the park. Benches have had a fresh coat of paint, collected 4 bags of rubbish, cleared the gullies around the footpaths 🙌

This Wednesday afternoon in the park we will be joined by West Yorkshire Police doing FREE bike marking for pedal bikes.

As well you can try an E-bike with Environmental Projects In Kirklees and ask any questions you have about E-bikes, how to plan safe ways to travel and bike security!
