Hey lovelies sorry I’ve been so quiet on here lately but since summer the salon and my home life has been manic (but wonderful so I’m not complaining).

You’ll already know it’s me that replies to messages/emails/deals with our product partners/creates pretty emails and creates social media posts in between working double booked behind the salon chair 4.5 days a week and I’m a mummy and wife to my gorgeous family. I’m also someone who struggles to sit still and relax so regularly look for new projects including DIY or designing new product ranges from scratch.

I’ve just celebrated my 50th birthday (I’ve not finished celebrating yet though!!) and was surprised by most of my favourite friends and family with a wonderful party orchestrated by a few of my nearest and dearest and, as someone who’s never had that many friends (I’m a quality over quantity kinda girl) I was blown away by the love shown to me by my friends who could attend that day. You’ve potentially invested £80-£250 on that service and you’re hopefully catching a glance at yourself in the mirror every time you pass and are filled with joy and pride at how amazing your crowning glory looks.

That shine, that bounce, that smoothness after your stylist has finished blowdrying , we all feel that love. It’s not just the stylists skill with the brush that creates that beautiful finish it’s the products they’ve used whilst you’re in the salon.

Good quality shampoos and conditioners WILL keep your colour/highlight/keratin/perm service looking and feeling incredible. It’s not just a matter of keeping it shiny as the cheapest products will do this as they contain waxes that make your hair appear shiny BUT you now need products that feed and nourish your hair to keep it hydrated and strong.
