The pigment choice was exactly the same both sessions, but how different do they look right??!
Trust me when I say sometimes it may look a touch warm at first, but let it settle! ... when you have a permanent makeup treatment, your NO JUDGEMENT ZONE is from immediately after your first session up to 4-6 weeks! Things can and will change throughout the healing process, you just have to listen to me, trust me, and trust the process 😘
Any tweaks and perfecting will be done at your second session once I've seen how well your skin accepts the pigment and how the pigment has settled in your skin 🥰

Just beautiful lips for another beautiful client of mine 🥰

A tad early for Halloween I know, but I just love the run up to it! 😍

There was little swelling here, but this will subside in no time! I just did one pass over the entire lip surface and perfected in areas as I didn't wanted over work them. Some swelling can be normal BUT... If your clients are swelling treatment after treatment, you need to make sure you're checking your technique and adjusting as needed.

My top 5 do's -

💫Always check your needle for any imperfections before you start! This goes for ALL pmu/tattoo treatments

💫Only use the TIP of the needle! Your pressure should be light and consistent. The pigment will implant quicker this way! Deep = trauma and poor results! My needle hang is around 2mm for the treatment give or take (depending on the needle and pigment flow) my hang is a little more for the outline so it doesn't pool! Again, i will adjust as needed and I still use only the tip!

💫Make sure your hand speed matches your machine speed. If they don't align, this will result in unnecessary trauma, which will affect your healed results. I naturally have a fast hand when it comes to lips, but my machine speed reflects this

💫If it doesn't feel right or something isn't working, don't be afraid to change it up! I love a 1rl but sometimes the sharper needles aren't always suitable, if you know your technique is good and the skin/lip tissue is telling you otherwise, pay attention to it, trust your gut and change it!

💫 Use a glide throughout! This will stop your needle from snagging the lips and is also nice and soothing for your clients! 💋

If you've had previous permanent makeup elsewhere I will always advise IF and which treatment would be most suitable for you. Sometimes it might not be what you want to hear but I will always be completely honest with you! Trust me when I say I have your best interests at heart! 🫶

Whether it's a 'YES' I can improve them for you or unfortunately 'NO' they maybe too saturated and recommend letting them fade out or seek some lightening sessions to make way for fresh pigment and a beautiful new shape 💕

DON'T GET CAUGHT OUT!!... I've had soooo many enquiries asking similar questions like ... "I'm going on holiday next week can I get my brows done please" .... I would love nothing more than to say yes, but unfortunately, this is not the case 😫

Your brows need to be kept out of the sun and tanning beds for at least 2-4 weeks. This is to avoid premature fading. Once you've finished the flaking stage, I would advise using a high factor spf to protect them 👌

You need to keep your brows dry for 1-2 weeks (other than gently cleansing with cool boiled water as instructed) ... even then, still be mindful of them!
Sweating and sea salt will also prematurely fade them
