Can I personally serve the Party Wall Notice?
Certainly, you have the legal right to serve the Party Wall Notice yourself, without involving a Party Wall Surveyor. However, we recommend having Party Wall Surveyors prepare the notices for legal validity, potential avoidance of delays, and issues that may arise due to invalidity.

Yes, the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 mandates the building owner to serve a Party Wall Notice to the adjoining owner before commencing proposed works. It is a legal requirement.
