I'm so incredibly proud of this commission! Thank you Liz for asking me to draw this picture as a gift (still a surprise do hush!!), it was such a fun process to figure out what to do - and my first time drawing a goose (and hay 😂) as well!

Bit of a change of pace after a long continued absence - full time work apparently takes up a lot of time! This is lovely Murphy, one of my secret santa horses this year. I attempted a bit of a simpler version of my usual pieces, which I initially struggled with but eventually quite liked the freedom of! So all in all very happy and will be trying it again 😁

Some of you might have already seen some pictures of this as a Work in Progress on my story, but here it finally is! I loved creating the background and working with different colours and lighting from the reference pictures to create something new. Hoping to continue with that in future commissions :3

Finished commission 😊 First in a while!

Been so long since I've had time to draw, this page has been slightly neglected as a result! However, I still have a couple more weeks until the second university semester starts and so I've started on this commission of a beautiful cat. It's been ages since I've drawn a cat, and I think this is the first time anyone has commissioned me to draw theirs - so very exciting!
Currently a work in progress.

WORK IN PROGRESS - Continuing on with a piece I started all the way back in February! Interesting to see how I've developed since then - and good to finally get back to it as well 😁 It wont be an incredibly detailed piece I don't think.

Getting my hands dirty with some traditional drawing practice - its been so long, and this is my first time drawing with colours. Using a material new to me, pastels, so it's definitely a challenge! It'd be so cool if I could pick up traditional drawing again as well 😊

WORK IN PROGRESS - Finally made some more progress, it's starting to come together! I always struggle with the manes when they are not absolutely straight and instead tend to curl together (but are not actually curly). It's good to practice, however!

Double portrait, only took me a month! 😂 Such a good way to practice drawing people again, especially on the tablet.

A quick work in between commissions of my own two cats, Nimueh (black) and Eydís (white).
Commissioning portraits of multiple animals at the same time will be cheaper than individual animals! Two animals in a portrait would be 1.5x the normal price for a portrait, instead of 2x if you commission two separate pieces! And I can make my own composition from multiple pictures! So no pressure to pose the animals correctly all at the same time 😊

Busy busy busy! Working almost all day every day does not leave a lot of time, or energy, for drawing, but I've managed to get this far with a commission for Mitch. Hope I can finish it soon!

Commission finished! Hamish, puppy of my friend Corey :D Just in time for my big working holiday of two months. I'll be taking my drawing tablet with me, but who knows how much time I'll have to draw!

Not a commission this time, but a fun little project in between! Decided to try my hand at a stag and I'm quite happy with how it turned out :) This will be available as a print, message me if you're interested in having this royal creature decorating your wall!

A quick update while I work to finish my third year of university in time. Rough background and foreground, still need to finish the hind part of Armani and Kimberley's outfit. I wanted to say thank you for all the support on this page, it's really appreciated!

Work in progress! Kimberly and her gorgeous horse, will be printed on a 60x40cm canvas so there's a lot of details going into this piece. So far only the nose is entirely finished (and even then, there's always room for improvement! :D), so I've added a close-up of that.

Finally finished this lovely chap! 😄 On to the rest of the list 😆 Made with GIMP 2.10 and an XP-Pen artist pro 15.6 tablet. Took me... probably about 10 hours of work in total.

A bit of an update regarding my current project!
