Happy New year! Thank you to all my clients over the past year, i’ve been flat out and not had a chance to post much! Here is a job from the end of the year, stunning porch re-build & new windows designed by client and brought to life by us.

Myself and Ewan Macintyre Joinery delighted to get this loft conversion over the line, still some final decoration to be finished by the client.

Upstairs a great airbnb space now which was previously a half unfinished house which upstairs lay unfinished for 30 years.
We added stairs with glass balustrade.
We got anderson builds to cut out the big window and fitted that massive beast.
New pvc windows and seperate entrance door.

Today’s job was a prime example of why you should NEVER squash down your insulation in your loft to create storage.

Boards fitted by previous home owner compacted and screwed down to trusses giving insulation no room to breathe has created damp and mould and a not very nice smell.

Section of damp, mouldy insulation and boards removed, new insulation fitted. New storage deck created the correct way and loft ladder fitted.
