Traditional Sash Restoration

200 year old emporium and bay above restored and draughtproofed. All sashs reglazed with 4mm toughened, emporium twin doors and above altered to carry and glazed with toughened double glazed units.

I have fitted Gecko glazing to all Sashs. This stuff is amazing...no sash alterations ....no weight change...and effortless to fit for the buyer..... If anyone has single glazed windows and wants immediate heat improvement then I recommend!!

I am now fully booked for 2024 and unable to survey/take on anymore work. Thanks to everybody that has booked in with me to have their windows restored. If anything changes I will update with my availability.

Below are some pics of multiplane Sashs that I have been working on recently. Timber repairs are of Sapele Mahogany and fixed with Oxera 1 hour rebuild resin.

As of today I am now a member of The Guild of Master Craftsmen. Thank you to all my customers that have helped me with my application; you are all amazing.

I will proudly display the emblem and hopefully it will help new customers feel a little more confident in knowing that my workmanship is to the highest of standards in every way.

Great effort from LJ Sash Window Restoration and myself on a fantastic period manse house at Brora. 19 windows fully reburished with lots of challenging rebuild work involved. The customers were some of the nicest people I've ever met. Really enjoyed this one. The windows all now look and work excellent.

6 x 200 year old windows. 4 x new bottom rails, loads of epoxy repairs, 6x boxes fully rebuilt and reset, 9x reglazes, all fully repointed. Honestly haven't worked on any that bad for a while but so rewarding when they are done. 150 year old 6 over 6 windows altered to carry 20mm DG units with back to back spacer. Lot of work and they look great.
