We would like to offer heartfelt Congratulations to everyone at the Elsie Normington Foundation on the official opening of the Haven Centre.
We had the privilege of working at the centre; installing fire detection and security systems throughout the multi purpose building including respite flats, indoor specialist play centre, community garden and cafe.
The Haven Centre will make a massive difference for families across the Highlands as it aims to provide support and respite for those caring for children & young people with severe learning difficulties and complex needs.

Pipers and cheers herald opening of Haven Centre for young people with complex needs in the Highlands Hundreds of flag-waving children lined an Inverness road to herald the grand opening of a pioneering centre for young people with complex needs.

Singled out as one of the very few Scottish fire & security companies invited, Graeme and John were delighted to attend Gent’s 150th Anniversary celebration in Leicester. Northern Security Alarms have been part of the renowned Gent24 network since 2000. To commemorate this illustrious milestone, we were presented with a Honeywell Gent piece of artwork, which is now proudly displayed in our office.

We were very pleased to support Inverness Swimming Club with their recent fundraising efforts. Great to support Scottish grassroots swimmers; our future Olympians 🏊‍♀️

The Club received a HUGE cash donation towards our fundraising for the Graded Meet from NORTHERN SECURITY ALARMS. IASC are very grateful for this incredibly generous donation from this fabulous local business. 🔥 SCOTTISH FIRE LEGISLATION 2021 🔥

Did you know that from February 2021 there will be new fire safety legislation which affects every home in Scotland?

From February 2021, every home must have interlinked fire detectors that are ceiling mounted and located in the following areas:

🔸One smoke alarm in the living room
🔸One smoke alarm in hallways and landings on each storey
🔸One heat alarm in every kitchen
🔸One carbon monoxide alarm where there is a carbon-fuelled appliance, such as boiler or stoves.

Homeowners urged to install linked heat and smoke alarms All homeowners will be required to have linked alarms from February next year.
