We’re thrilled to share that several of our residents from St. James Court will be taking the stage in the 2024 Community Integrated Care Pantomime, "Peter Pan: Adventures In Neverland"!

This year’s production is extra special, as it’s the first Community Integrated Care Pantomime in the North East of Scotland and our biggest show to date! Thanks to the continued support from the community post-merger, we’ve been able to include even more talented cast members from across our services.

🎄 Online Christmas Auction for Halfpenny Farm in Inverurie Goes Live on Monday! 🎄

April and Megan, have been busy as elves creating a selection of unique, handmade treasures just in time for the holidays! From one-of-a-kind decor to thoughtful gifts, each item is truly special—and each bid helps support the sanctuary animals at Halfpenny Farm through the winter.

🎃 Halloween themed Communal Meal 🎃

Tonight, we’re ending our Halloween festivities with a delicious communal meal! I’m thrilled to share that Scott and Fiona pitched in with the food prep—Scott made the marinara sauce for our classic Halloween-themed spaghetti Bolognese, and Fiona helped ensure our cozy butternut squash soup turned out just right. 🍝🎃🥄

The evening was filled with great flavors and celebration! We sang happy birthday to Colin and Emma, enjoyed some birthday snacks and cakes, while Andrew’s birthday was in a modest way. Everyone got to try something new with the butternut squash soup, garnished with pumpkin seeds and a swirl of cream. Many hadn’t tried it before, but based on the empty plates tonight, I think it was a hit!

To add to the cozy vibe, we had some ambient restaurant music and soft lighting, making it a truly special end to the week. 🌙🍂🎶

This wraps up our official three-day Halloween events:

A big thank you to everyone who made these three days easier! Special shoutout to Caroline for helping on Thursday, and to Mya for capturing lovely photos/videos from Friday evening, including a beautiful dawn shot of Colin. And, of course, a thank you to Fiona for staying to clean up after the events.

It's Birthday time again at St James's Court!

🎃👻 Halloween Spooktacular at St. James’s Court! 👻🎃

Tonight, we celebrated Halloween with a party full of singing, dancing, and good vibes! 🎶💃🕺 We had an amazing mix of songs, from ABBA and Neil Diamond to Black Lace, Elton John, Earth, Wind & Fire – you name it, we sang it! 🎤✨

We also had a special moment singing “Happy Birthday” to Emma and Colin, with Colin’s birthday tomorrow and Emma's on Sunday! 🥳🎂 Unfortunately, we missed singing for Andrew as he couldn’t join us, but he was with us in spirit!

The party might have started a bit slow, but by the end, everyone was showing off their best dance moves and singing their hearts out! 🎉💫

🌫️ Bubbles, friendly Halloween darts, and decorations set the spooky scene.
