CLiKS
CLiKS works with local primary and secondary schools, sharing God's love and supporting them in the most appropriate ways for each school.
Such a brilliant week taking โFast Forwardโ into school ~ and with encouraging feedback from the teachers and support staff ๐
This is Clare, our treasurer. She, like all those involved with CLiKS, is so grateful for all who give so generously to support our work. Thank you!
This is Dale. He is the chair of CLiKS. He is passionate that all the children in primary schools in Keighley should get to know, enjoy and explore many of the stories of Jesus, while engaging positively with the vast range of religious and cultural experience of the children in the town.
CLiKS are still looking to appoint a full-time schools worker. Check out the details below and email for more details to [email protected]
Today is my final day at CLiKS. I will be starting my new journey as a Youth Worker tomorrow. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me and worked along side of me. I will miss everyone and the Keighley school.
Don't worry CLiKS will still be doing some amazing work. I am sure they will keep you all posted.
Everyone who helped CLiKS, who I have met and worked with and all the schools will stay in my prayers.
Goodbye and Stay Safe
Merry Christmas

On Sunday 27th September CLiKS received some very sad news.
Jennifer Robinson, one of our loyal volunteers passed away.
She was a kind and loving person. She gave her all into the work she did and helped CLiKS massively. She helped us with Open the Book Assemblies, Rewind to Christmas, Rewind to Easter and Fast Forward and many more things.
She always had a smile on her face and I really admired the faith she had. We will always miss her.
We will be keeping her family and friends in our prayers at this difficult time.
Rest in peace Jen.
It is such sad news to hear about a young girl that has gone missing in Keighley.
If you see her or have any information please contact the police.
We will keep her and her family in our prayers.
Praying she will return home safely
Urgent appeal to trace missing girl from Keighley POLICE have issued an urgent appeal to trace a missing Keighley girl who has not been since since yesterday.
CLiKS is now back in business!!!!
We are hoping everyone has stayed safe and well through these difficult times and praying for things to return back to normal.
We are working really hard thinking of ideas of things and projects we can do in/with schools. The ideas are coming together. However, if you have any ideas or input of things we can do, we would love to hear them.
We appreciate everyones support and are happy that we are now back working in the 'new normal'
CLiKS had to make a very tough decision this morning to cancel Rewind to Easter this year. Due to the news last night that stated because of Coronavirus there should be no unnecessary social gatherings. We have to think about what is best for the children, staff and volunteers. Thank you everyone for your support.
How exciting, the craft and the booklet for Rewind to Easter arrived today. Not long now ๐
Update:
CLiKS are happy to say that the after school club (Story to Stage) is going very well and is in 3 schools for the next 4 weeks. It is brilliant to see the children learn and shine. We are still delivering assemblies in 9 schools around Keighley. 2 of them Schools have the brilliant Open the Book Assemblies. It is amazing to see the relationship between CLiKS and the schools grow and we pray that it continues to grow. We are starting to work on Rewind to Easter soon and we will keep you updated.

Rewind to Christmas was great. It was brilliant to see 567 children. We would like to thank all 42 volunteers that helped and all the 15 schools that came to enjoy it and learn what Christmas means to Christians. Truly a brilliant week.
Everything is all set up and ready for Rewind to Christmas tomorrow. It is going to be a great day with lots of fun.
Such a brilliant way to begin Christmas and telling the wonderful Christmas story and what it means to Christians.
The booklets for Rewind to Christmas have been collected today. We would like to thank The Copy Shop for being great and quick doing them.
It is such a blessing that I get to go into 3 schools today to do 3 assemblies and 1 after school club. Today's assemblies are about peace and in the after school club we go back to creation. I am so thankful that the schools are so welcoming a brilliant to work with.

It has been a pleasure this week going into schools. The children responded really well to the Assemblies, lunch clubs and after school clubs.

News letter:
It has been great this week meeting teachers at St. Anne's Catholic School, Riddlesden St. Mary's, Eastwood Community School and Victoria School to discuss what we have to offer.
CLiKS now offer school Assemblies (including Open The Book), Parable Journey (Lunch time club) and Story to Stage (After school drama club). I'm really excited to start these new clubs in September.

Next week I will be at Silsden, been part their summer club Monsters Stink.
I hope everyone enjoys their last couple of days at school and their summer holidays.

We are on our way to do our first Open the Book assembly at St. Anne's Catholic Primary school
We had a brilliant time last week running Fast Forward. It was brilliant to be able to help year 6 students with their transition to high school. Couldn't have done it without our amazing team of volunteers. Already looking forward to our next big event, Rewind to Christmas ๐
Everything has arrived for Fast Forward next week. How exciting?!!
Having a brilliant time in the Prayer Space at Merlin Top this week ๐
It was great for CLiKS to be part of Scripture Unions 95 Event last night. In the picture we have Adam from the Zephaniah Trust, Neil from CICS, Nikita from CLIKS and Neil Jackson from Scripture Union.
Hi, I would like to introduce myself (the new CLiKS worker).
I am Nikita Evans, I come from the estate Holmewood and my passion is working with children and young people.
When I was younger I did not come from a religious background. Unfortunately I became ill as a child and I discovered God at the age of 6. I then explored my faith as a teenager, I started attending St. Christopher's Church in Holmewood.
I then realised I wanted to work for the church, so then I became a youth and children's worker at The Salvation Army in Holmewood. I still worship at The Salvation Army.
Two years later, a brilliant opportunity opened up to me and now I am really happy to be part of the CLiKS team.
