Leisure Link

This week at leisure link we have been baking and decorating buns and we also done some reading skills and we want in to town and enjoyed the massaging chairs

We had a really varied day today. Starting with some messy fun making our own 'play-doh' We also made chocolate rice crispie buns 🍫😋. Spencer treated us all to some groovy singing 🎤and guitar playing🎸🎶 and we also played pool🎱 used our tablets💻, played games, listened to music 🎧 and we did some beautiful colouring🎨.

We had a really good time at Sutton park today. We went on the swings, roundabout and the seesaws, followed by a lovely little picnic 😊

We’ve had a great couple of months ! Going out on day trips ,treasure hunts outside and doing lots of activities 😎

We love a game of pool !!

Today we decided to make our own cheese and onion pie for lunch and it went down nicely

Had a good day yesterday doing different activities like doing jigsaw puzzles and draughts and word search

We had a lovely day getting the public transport to skipton and Sutton park some of the members enjoyed a paddle and sitting on the swing

Had a really good day at Bolton Abby on Friday we had lots of different activities on like bat and ball , football and some of the members had a little paddle in the river

We had a great day today and made the most of the sunshine 🌞 (while we could!). We caught the bus 🚌 to Lister Park 🌲🌳and had a nice walk around the grounds, enjoying a picnic🥪 for lunch 😋

We had a very busy day today at Leisure Link! We've done still life drawing ✏️ and various arts and crafts 🧵. We got sporty and played basketball 🏀 ping pong 🏓 and pool 🎱. And we also enjoyed singing and dancing. D tried out our BP monitor from our new 'health information station'.

We enjoyed our coffee morning outside in the sun this morning and picnic at cliffe castle along with fun and games like football and frisbee

Today was our first Tuesday group and we did some gardening and enjoying the weather

Today at Leisure Link we had a brilliant day doing lots of different things! People chose to do writing activities🖊, diamond art 🖼, dance/exercises 🎶💃🕺, time telling skills🕐, pool 🎱, puzzles, games🎲and jigsaws🧩 and we even took advantage of the beautiful weather 🌞 and decided to take a walk 🚶🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️around Keighley Tarn🌳🌊🌲, looking at all the different birds🐦‍⬛🪿 🦢🦆.

Unfortunately it has also been a bit of a sad day for us😢 because we had to say goodbye 👋 to a lovely member and friend because her life is taking her on a new adventure and she is moving away. We will all miss her so much 💔 and wish her well for the future 🌈👋🍀🏡x

Another fun filled day at Leisure Link, all the members picked another member to draw we definitely have some artists in the group and in the afternoon we had some exercise and dancing to keep us all fit and we had a lot of fun doing it

Another amazing day at Leisure Link doing lots of different activities. We had a wonderful visit from Oli the dog who sat and enjoyed a good brush and cuddle from some of the members.

We had a sporty day today and we have also enjoyed some arts and crafts and tabletop games.

As from 7th May 2024, Leisure Link will be opening its doors on a Tuesday too!

Last Monday we had a fantastic afternoon at keighley college with some of the students that volunteer for us through our supported volunteer project we had so much fun thank you for the lovely buffet you made for us and all the different activities you planned for us we had an amazing time and hope to do it again soon

Had a fun day on Friday afternoon with different activities, just dance to give us some exercise ,colouring in ,pool, and listening to music on tablets making daffodil pots made from card and paper cups for St David's day always a fun filled day at leisure link

Lucy is definitely developing her cooking skills! Today she baked some absolutely AMAZING butterfly buns from scratch. We all agreed they were DELICIOUS!! 😋🧁

Pancake day! YAAY!! 🥞
Well, actually we couldn't wait and celebrated early with our Monday group, who made some delicious pancakes with their choice of toppings 😋

What a fantastic day at Leisure Link! We have been getting ready for Valentine's day 💕by baking and decorating some lovely heart shaped cookies🍪. We have been really crafty creating valentines cards🎨, friendship bracelets and keyrings🪢🧶 for our friends and loved ones🎨 AND we have enjoyed hanging out together playing tabletop🎲 games and pool 🎱! Brilliant! 😊

Today we enjoyed a walk into town to buy some supplies for the group (oh, and a little bit of cheeky chocolate!). 😋🍫

Today we enjoyed another great day doing exercises, playing pool, and socialising. We love chatting with our friends and having fun together.
