Calling first time voters…
Your vote in the upcoming UK elections this July is super important. By voting, you can directly influence decisions on education, jobs, climate change, and more. It's your chance to make sure your voice is heard & to shape a future that matters to you. Plus, showing up at the polls helps prove that young people care & have the power to drive change.
The BBC are really interested in hearing from people ahead of the general election to help shape their news coverage, & have asked us to share that they are particularly keen to hear from first time voters about specific issues, questions about the manifestos & policies being put forward or the voting process. Anyone can upload a comment or suggestion to BBC Your Voice, Your Vote online here.
Your Voice, Your Vote: Tell BBC News what election issues matter to you At BBC News, we need your help to ensure we’re getting our election coverage right.

🎉Exciting News Alert!🎉
This year, we decided to enter our pre-apprentices into the BBC Young Reporter 2024 competition, & guess what? We have some AMAZING news to share!
Four of our incredible boys - Remus, Riley, Muhammad, & Heath - took on the challenge with their honest project, "How Teenage Guys Are Seen In Society." These talented young men, known as "The Brickie Boys," have now been crowned regional winners! 👏🙌👏
On Monday, we received the incredible news that The Brickie Boys now hold the BBC England (South) Regional title. From mid-July, they'll be working with a BBC South production team to create a report on raising aspirations & alternatives to academia for TV, Radio, Podcast, Print, or a mix of all four.
This is a phenomenal opportunity for our young men & for ACE! As a Training Provider, we are committed to building young individuals who step into the working world with confidence & the skills they need for a bright future.
So please join us in congratulating & celebrating these young men for standing up for all young people transitioning into adulthood. Their first response was, "UNBELIEVABLE!" But we believe it because these young men have truly stood up & been counted. Well done to you all! 🎉
Check out all the winners through the link below & stay tuned for updates on this exciting journey.
