U9 trainer of the week sponsored by Zenith goes to Bobby. Bobby has made great progress with his ball handling over the last couple of weeks and his confidence in carrying the ball forward has improved massively.

Anyone who is moving into Year 5 this September who wants to start playing rugby league is welcome to come down to train 9am with the team at kingswood Parks Primary school every Saturday.

We are grateful to Freya, Chloe and Fliss for making these gifts that we will be handing out in our skill zone tomorrow. If you have any used drinks cans please bring them to the fun day tomorrow and we will pass these on to the girls to support their lifestyle campaign.

A massive thank you to everyone who is has given a prize to support your local Rugby League community club.

We have plenty of things for the kids to do at our fun day tomorrow. Fire engine is due at 10am (depending on call outs), bouncy castles/ slide and face painting are around all day. We also have the Scrap store coming for a few hours at 11am to make some knight related items such as helmets, shields and swords. Our under 6’s are in action at 10am followed by our u7’s at 12 and finishing off with our u8’s and 9’s at 2pm.

We hosted this weeks festival for the U7’s with Zach, Frankie and Harry been rewarded Player of Match!

U6’s had an away game this week with Player of the Match rewarded to Josh and Abel!

Lovely to see some new faces over the last couple of weeks including Carter and Isabelle 😁🏉

It was Carter’s first training session today with the U7’s, speaking to his parents afterwards and been told how welcoming all the team was just makes us notice what a special bunch of kids we have! He defiantly seemed to enjoy himself and has already commented on his return next week 😁 leaving the session with a smile on his face and trainer of the week was an added bonus!

Isabelle had her first session training with the U9’s and was lovely to see her confidence develop throughout the session. She showed such confidence in tackling and running at a defensive line. We look forward to seeing her grow and hopefully gain more trainers of the week as she progresses! 🏆

If you have a child either new to rugby or would like to try Kingswood Knights please don’t hesitate to come along to the join in on a training session, the training session runs from 9-10:30 every Saturday morning and the first 4 sessions are FREE! Al abilities welcome 😁

No U8/9/10 training this week due to coaches being away. All other training will be as normal.

Great to be involved in the Kingswood community event today at the Village Green. Loads of Knights running around representing the club. Hopefully have a few more recruits at training on Saturday 9am on the school field.

KINGSWOOD COMMUNITY DAY - THURSDAY 30 MAY - 3pm to 6pm

A date for your diaries! On Thursday 30 May a community day will be held in Kingswood Village Centre. Your ward councillors Ted and Charles will be there alongside a number of local sports teams and organisations holding activities and sessions, including:

🧡 Kingswood Knights - rugby activities
🧡 Outkast Panda Crew - vehicle maintenance / modification skills
🧡 Hull Scrapstore - arts and crafts
🧡 PROBE - crime prevention advice
🧡 Humberside Police - advice and support

Plus much more! Many of the activities are aimed at children and young adults but this is a day for the whole community so everyone is welcome. Please come along and spread the word!
