When and why did you join Sirius?
I was the very first employee – sat in the office by myself with no clients, no staff and a lot of anxiety!

What does your role in the business involve?
Making sure that everyone who works here is supported to deliver the best care we can and making sure we embrace technology to evolve our service. Our culture is very much to support our staff. Ultimately our wonderful team in the field, as well as our amazing office team, are all doing the best they can every day to make a difference to the families we support.

Which bits do you enjoy most about your job?
Seeing clients out and about in the community with our staff – we get so much positive feedback. I have run other companies in different sectors, but whilst care is hard – it' truly humbling when you see clients enjoying a better quality of life and it reminds me every day that we have to work hard to maintain our standards and our passion for doing things right.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Family, friends, music and golf.

What three words would you use to describe Sirius?
Community. Care. Done right. – Sorry I can't count!

It's not every day you have a tiny tortoise in your office! Beautiful little Bramble is certainly one of most unusual visitors we've had to the Sirius office so far, but also one of the cutest 🐢 She made our Director Chloe's day 😍

Did you know we offer a companionship service as well as regular care and support? Our staff are professional and reliable but are also lovely, friendly people who adore spending time with our clients chatting and getting to know them 🥰

The majority of our clients are lucky to have wonderful family and friends who help care for them too. But everyone needs a break, and our respite care service is there to cover all eventualities - from overnight stays 7 days a week to a few hours a week for family carers to have some 'me time'.
