Today we witnessed a beautiful moment where a few of our residents were helping our colleagues clear up after breakfast. We recognise the importance of ensuring our residents are stimulated and actively engaged, allowing them to live a fulfilled life. This highlights the importance of taking the time to get to know each resident and understand how they lived their lives before they moved into our home. This is why we provide 'person centered' care to all our residents who have individual and meaningful care plans. ๐ค๐

At the start of yet another busy week, we have the pleasure of introducing Steve, our new Head Chef. Steve began his career as a professional chef in 1980 and after many enjoyable and successful years in hotels and restaurants, he decided to join the care home sector through Signature in late 2021 in a regional capacity. Encouraging Steve to say a few words "During my time at regional level I have worked in many Signature kitchens with some amazing people having gained an idea of what the company is about and how much they care about the wonderful service they provide. Working with Signature has allowed me to really express myself as a chef and add to my already vast experience. After spending time on the road, I have decided to settle down and dedicate myself to the wonderful residents and team at Signature at Coombe Hill Manor. My aim is to use my knowledge of food production and preparation and along with the requirements of our residents, to bring them the best possible dining experience". Great to have you with us Steve!
