Hi everyone, hope you’re all doing okay! I haven’t been positing much on here lately due to being so busy but here’s an update of a job I’ve been on with which got started last Friday…

A lovely wrap around kitchen with a break up of colours. Navy and white doors with chrome k***s.

This particular kitchen was flat pack🤯 anyone who’s had the advantage of building flat pack before knows it’s a headache! But doing what I do best I got the job done.

Yes… I can’t believe it either, another media wall underway for SB Joinery! This is a new build home so it’s nice working with nice plumb walls for a change, this one’s a lot different to the other ones I’ve done. This media wall is getting boarded in MDF and it’s going to have 8 spot lights in it🤩 4 existing sockets needed moving and that’s pretty much it really, this one will be complete with only the electrician to come back to second fix tomorrow!

Second job of the day started this afternoon… these media walls are getting more and more popular everyone wants them! Each media wall I fit is unique to the customer’s preferences, i just have a load of ideas thrown at me and come up with the best design to suite their space.

Lovely fencing job completed today, this gives the garden a much needed uplift and looks great. The customer wanted a straight run of fencing but I came up with the idea of boxing in the bins and I’m very happy with the outcome🤙🏻

Just a quick update on the 10 oak doors I posted the other day. These are the final 5 doors and what a difference oak doors make not just the look of them but the customer has already said the house feels a lot warmer changing from egg box doors to solid oak.

5 out of 10 completed oak Holdenby doors supplied and fitted from howdens. Oak really is the way forward I don’t have to say too much as the pictures say everything, I’ll upload a video to my story with a full run through off all doors.

I’ve said it plenty of times before and I’ll keep on saying it… I AM THE MAN FOR THE JOB!

Here’s a kitchen I started 2 days ago for a potential new client who buys, renovates and sells property. This is the first of many I hope! Few bits to finish tomorrow but like always, a good turn around on this job.

Had a little set back earlier this week with my van being broken into and being completely wiped out of £3,500 worth of tools🤬 but I can’t and won’t let anything stop me doing what I love! I’ve taken it on the chin and we move on💯🤙🏻💙

Some lovely panelling started today. This wall you see is 6m long and that outcome of this makes the wall look twice as big🤩 I’ll upload a video to follow showing the staircase I also started today. Little bit annoyed as wanted to complete the job today but it doesn’t always work in our favour now does it.

Job completed today! You can’t really can’t argue with the look of oak🤩 I really need to start taking before and after photos…

So this involved ripping out the old balustrade which was just made up of timber and ply board wood. I levelled a line level with the landing floor and cut that out and removed all waste. A nice oak newel post fitted with an half newel post, handrail and base-rail to match. 2 lovely pains of 10mm toughened glass with some nice chrome glass brackets to finish off.

The customers wanted to add an oak handrail, I did recommend the handrail running up the opposite wall but what the customer wants the customer gets.

Another one bites the dust…🤩
I’d like to share this media wall with anyone and everyone who’s interested to see my work. Built and boarded by myself. This media wall Imparticular is one of a kind, theirs 6 spot lights in this wall. The bigger shelves you see have a spot light facing upwards from the underside of the shelf and the 2 smaller shelves have one each facing down creating that really glowing look! The lights are remote controlled meaning you have a choice of every colour you could think of. Couple of double socket alteration’s and an added double socket behind the telly. Thank to Callum Walsh for the electrical work.

Just about finished on this project… The customer wanted to make the most out of the space you see. I gave them an idea of a media wall but not quite a fully built out one as they’d of lost a lot of living room space, framed out the chimney breast to create a void for electrical services. 2 floating shelves either side of the chimney breast running nice and level between the 2. Oak acoustic panels used to clad the chimney breast and I just admit the finish is unreal! Really impressed with this one! 2 storage cupboards built either side to utilise space for PlayStations, Wi-Fi boxed, Alexa, you get the idea. Back next week to complete some extras but as it stands, both me and the customers are over the moon😎
