We cannot wait to welcome you to browse our handmade items, drop in to our workshops and see our amazing space!

Not only this, but we’ve heard a rumour the brilliant will be offering portraits too… !

Pop in and meet us over the weekend, 10-5 Saturday and Sunday!

Our open studios is coming up fast 👏🏼
We will be hosting some drop in workshops during the event, one being hosted by the talented -

‘Have fun and get making at a drop-in crafting session hosted by Anachronalia 11-12 and 13-15:00 Sat and Sun. Learn how to make traditional yarn gnomes and birds, or why not try your hand at weaving a Danish Jul heart and making paper decorations. Suitable for most ages, all materials provided. £2 a person.

Children must be accompanied/supervised by an adult.’

And just like that, yesterday was the 5th birthday that our brilliant studio has been open!

An incredible collaborative space for everyone from jewellers, woodworkers, to paper artist and ceramicists

These two images are from the opening announcement 5 years ago, its looking much more lived in now!

Lets start with some history -
Dawn & Andrew received the keys to Hereford House back in November 2016, taking on a completely empty shell with nothing but - you’ll never guess - a load of industrial fridges!

Before Fabrication moved in, the buildings most recent life had been an Oriental Supermarket!

Years worth of hard work to turn the building into the beautiful community we have now lay ahead..

So we figured its about time our brilliant communal studio had its own instagram! Fabrication Workspace is a haven for jewellers, metal smiths, woodworkers, fashion designers and all practises in between. This account will focusing on our amazing studio holders, workshops and events that all of Yorkshire will want to hear about ✨
