> Kitchen islands do indeed make for a stunning feature, but they require a larger space and with many homeowners now choosing to make the most of space and renovate, rather than move to a larger home - a breakfast bar is the perfect way scratch the itch without having the full island.

> Perfect to make a new kitchen look like it’s been in place for years. It can also add comfort to a newer style home or sit nicely in an older home!

Find a balance of your warm and cool tones, aiming for neutral ground.

> Don’t look at all of the additional elements in isolation. Instead look at the bigger picture - creating a mood board of your wood elements, hardware details, furnishings, accessories, light fittings and even the on show appliances.

By doing so you’ll be able to see exactly where you want to bring in some warmth but balance out with cooler or neutral choices in other ways.

• 2023 is the year for intelligent internal storage solutions, particularly breakfast pantries and endless smart drawer ideas. Focusing on hideable storage, with a hidden Narnia effect, allows attention to remain on your beautiful kitchen, rather than streams of appliances taking space on your sides.

➡️ With a bolder colour of cabinets, we recommend to mix in some other tones, this will allow the space to pop rather than look one dimensional. A statement wall or upholstery accessories will work wonders and add character to the space.
