Last week, took delivery of their first OptiMate!
Supplied by Road Tankers Northern, this 32,000l urban artic is fitted with a five-compartment OptiMate 800 electronic metering system.
It is equipped with automatic line and compartment change and full protection against fuel contamination.
Specified with:
- Smart Product Grade Indicator (SPGI)
- Metered hose and bulk deliveries
- Our white remote which features stop/start and hi/low flow

Last week, Craggs Energy added another OptiMate to their fleet, bringing the total to three. With three more on the way, they are fully equipped with the latest technology for efficient fuel deliveries!
A Magyar build, supplied by Just Tankers, the tanker is fitted with a five-compartment OptiMate 800 electronic metering system.
Equipped with automatic line and compartment change and full protection against fuel contamination.
Specified with:
- Smart Product Grade Indicator (SPGI)
- Metered hose and bulk deliveries
- Our blue remote which features stop/start, hi/low flow, litre repeater, and hose rewind

MechTronic has been Green 4 Wales preferred electronic metering supplier since 2011. Over time, they made the decision to move from MaxFlow to become the first OptiMate user within the UK in 2016 with four trucks operating this revolutionary system.
Since then, they have increased their fleet to 14 OptiMate's, with a further 12 due for delivery over the next year!

At MechTronic we deliver an honest, accurate, and timely service to our customers. As part of our service, we provide a full health-check of the vehicle, meter calibration, and re-verification certificates.
Our team of highly skilled and dedicated service engineers are located across the country. Our engineers are all National Weights and Measures (NWML) certified and we provide a fast response to our customers' requirements.
Customers who hold a service contract simply book your meter calibration, as this service is included in your contract!
Don't have a contract? Don't worry, just contact us and we will arrange for one of our dedicated engineers to arrange a visit.
Should you wish to take out a tailor-made service contract with MechTronic you will benefit from:
- A yearly meter calibration and health check
- 24-hour targeted response to a vehicle off the road
- An extended warranty on parts and labour for the contract duration
