Due to Salisbury Street being closed service 30 will be unable to serve until further notice we apologise for this but have had no notification of this closure in advance

We can truly say our team are busy this week!

It’s been a while since we’ve operated around the clock but here we are busy with the Trans Pennine Rail Upgrade works @03:13 in the morning!

With the continued summer weather we’ve had to take some precautions to protect our in the depot due to flash flooding, here is our Pete modelling the latest company issue health and safety equipment we’ve installed !

Service 61

Lupton Avenue currently closed due to roadworks service 61 is diverting via York Road and Harehills Lane in both directions

A positive vibe on the route 30 today with our driver Mark at the wheel!

Low on milk? Need a new magazine or newspaper? If so, you might as well hop on our number 30 which services both Horsforth and Pudsey!

Services 61/61A - Lupton Avenue

So after months of waiting, Leeds City Council have finally started repair works on Lupton Avenue, so from Monday 17th June buses will return to using Lupton Avenue in both directions

So a recent addition to the fleet is a fully kitted out Engineering Support Vehicle as modelled here by our Pete 🤣🤣🤣

All the team at Yorkshire Buses are sorry to hear the passing of an absolute legend Rob Burrow CBE.

Service Update: 61

Due to a large conference at Leeds DOCK this has caused the service to run approx 30 minutes late..

The 1035 trip from John Charles to ST James Hospital has been cancelled as a result.

Service 30

We are pleased to announce that from Monday 20th May 2024 we will commence operation of Service 30 between Pudsey Bus Station and Horsforth via Calverley, there will be a new timetable is this will be available on the metro website,

⭐️⭐️⭐️ PCV DRIVERS - WE ARE HIRING ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Due to new contracts starting imminently Yorkshire Buses are looking for qualified bus drivers to join our teams at our depots in Leeds and Huddersfield.

Whether you’re after full time, part time, casual or job share these are quite flexible positions, and could work around the available hours of the right candidates.

With a mix of local bus and contracts together with rail replacement work you won’t get bored!

The right candidates should :
- Hold a full PSV licence.
- Hold a valid DCPC card.
- Be highly motivated.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be willing to work as part of team

On the job training can be given for all types of work.

The work will involve working some weekends.

DBS checks will be performed on the successful applicants before they commence employment, as transport of school children.

Our team are out early at Castleford assisting Northern Rail with buses between Castleford and
Knottingley due to a bank collapse the start of a busy Easter week!

Well this bodes well moving forward!

Service L57

This service will return to its previous 07:25 departure time from Bramley now that traffic lights at Kirkstall have been re-phased we will continue to monitor punctuality in ten mornings, also a reminder that children from Lawnswood School require the Lawnswood ID pass from today to enable travel on this service.

We’d like to say a massive well done and thanks to our fabulous team who have gone above and beyond today in all 3 of our operations, despite some fairly grim conditions across in Huddersfield one of our guys has taken some great pics ….. nice snaps Aarron Johansson
