Today we was called out to recently completed re-roof, the original roofers had tiles over the bonding gutter with out pointing the tiles. This allowed water ingress and a hole in the felt then created a leak. This was a reputable firm who left it in this state.

Just wow I can’t belive the degradation on this felt! This degradation allowed bird nests and offered no water protection. The customer opted for a lower cost option of using the old tiles.
