Huddersfield Womenβs Sessions, part of our Core Cities programme, organised a cricket game showcase at Pavilion Park, Huddersfield, during Interfaith Week. The event also emphasised how women can use cricket to build confidence and promote women's empowerment.
Following the showcase, the participants met with the Mayor of Kirklees to share their experiences. They discussed how the sessions have positively impacted their mental health, overall health, and well-being. At the end of the event, the women received certificates recognising their achievements.
