We had the pleasure of providing the technical equipment for the BBC Bitesize School Careers Tour✨

It was one of the biggest, most successful tours conducted reaching over 130,000 secondary school students across the whole of the UK. Spanning from September 2023 - January 2024, we’re proud to say we helped to have an impact on the lives of young people and hopefully inspired them to think differently about their future!🎓

Meet Declan, an Assistant Live Events Technician here at Firefly!

With a history of crewing all manner of events, Declan is no stranger to the Live Event Industry. He has been with the company for a few months now and has come leaps and bounds - proven by winning ‘most improved’ employee of the year! 🏆 He spent his first few months touring up and down the UK with the BBC Bitesize School Tour where his can-do attitude and perseverance proved invaluable. He is always on hand and ready to help in any way that he can.

We started our pride month celebrations with a bang! ✨🏳️‍🌈

It was a beautifully sunny day (and very hot!), full of incredible artists, performers & lots of fun ✨

Last week we had the pleasure of working on the British Open – one of the most prestigious and historic tournaments in professional squash ⭐️

We were delighted to work alongside . Our team of project managers, video technicians, sound engineers and lighting designers were tasked with creating an immersive environment to showcase professional sporting talent.

✨Leeds Sports Awards 2023 ✨

Tasked with providing a spectacular night to celebrate the achievements of both olympic-level professional athletes and local amateur sporting clubs, Firefly took this fantastic opportunity to showcase our full creative ability.

A new addition to our stock and a firm favourite for our lighting techncians, the Rogue Outcast 1 BeamWash took pride of place lining the stage, and were the perfect lighting element to add dimension and depth.

A mirrored stage design included two easily-accessible ramps, two lecterns and two rear-projection screens to highlight featured videos and award content. Our LED walls looked incredible too.

Our .tv PTZ cameras were used to project athlete interviews onto the projectors, giving hundreds of attendees a crystal clear, unobstructed view.
