Its another busy week for GoodSense Training with back to back Conflict Resolution Training - both soft skills and breakaways, in various venues. We do official feedback forms for each course and also invite google reviews from delegates - this insight is important as the training we deliver may one day be the difference between "Life or serious harm" and so its important we review all feedback carefully. "Engaged", "interested" "confident" and "useful" are all great words to see as we work hard to support the Prevention and management of Violence and Aggression. We do it for the feedback, and to ensure we continuously improve - the consistent 5*'s are a bonus!!! Check out our reviews for yourself here ....

Tomorrow evening, our regularly scheduled group classes will be cancelled for our Winter Belt Ceremony! We will have sparring available from 6:30pm to 7pm (Master Cycle students only) and the ceremony will start at 7pm. This is the one time of year we promote black belts, so everyone is welcome to come show their support for everyone's hard work and dedication!

It was inspirational to see 56 year old AJ Parry compete and go on to win Silver place at the Aire Valley Inter-Club Jiu-Jitsu Tournament in Keighley last week.
It was the first time in over 10 years that AJ had entered himself into a tournament and with only one week’s advance notice too!
For anyone who thinks that Jiu-Jitsu is just for young athletes, think again! AJ is local living proof that it’s suitable for all ages.
While competitions are not for everyone; training definitely is.

GoodSense Training was founded in 1996 by Darren Good based on demand for personal protection training from the NHS. Darren has trained extensively in various martial arts techniques and has over 30 years experience.
GoodSense Training specialises in conflict resolution, physical intervention, self defence and personal protection, and has run thousands of courses nationwide for the private, public and third sectors. Feedback from our customers is exemplary, and hence the company is growing in terms of numbers and by reputation.
GoodSense Training has a team of mature and professional trainers, all of whom have training experience. Our trainers have undergone an extensive training course to ensure quality and consistency and are evaluated regularly. As we have an extensive number of trainers we are able to run courses nationally.
