We’re sharing a link to our crowdfunder which has the aim of raising funds to treat our main pitch ahead of next season to ensure that it is fit for training on, and matches all of our senior teams on Saturdays and juniors on Sundays.
As you will doubtlessly be aware, we’ve had to move many second and third team fixtures to the back pitches in order to maintain the pitch, and currently train at Yarnbury on the 4G on Tuesdays.
Whether or not you believe in climate change, the biblical amount of rain we’ve seen in the last 12 months have truly taken their toll on the Far Moss surface, once the pride and joy of Town.
The treatment should ensure the integrity of the pitch for years to come and give our entire club from the Acorns up to the Mighty Oaks a place to play their game.
We are trying to raise as much of this as possible through community funding and sponsorship but any support from our friends and members will truly make a difference.
Please take time to read the appeal, and also check out the rewards on offer.

Hi Mate, can you do a post like this please?
Put the fixtures first, then remind everyone that we’re showing ALL the Six Nations games over the weekend.
And if they’re coming Sunday they’d may as well get their carvery lunches from the Chunky Cactus and then watch the game as well.
Also we’ve got some fantastic new pumps, with Saltaire Pilsner on tap and Thatchers 4 ways: Classic, Apple & Blackcurrant, Blood Orange, and Cloudy Lemon.
Then just put some hashtags and s**t.
Cheers Carl x
