Leeds delivered many greats over the years including Sir Edmund Happold, a renowned structural engineer who was responsible for some of the world's most iconic buildings like Sydney Opera House and the Pompidou centre in Paris.
We aspire to continue building on the region's legacy through our conversion and refurbishment efforts - In 2018 we delivered a very special project, one that required extensive refurbishment – the Group’s HQ – Priestley House.
“We have always called Yorkshire our home and this significant investment into new premises reaffirms our strong connection to Leeds and the region." - Nathan Priestley

WE ARE AN INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY AWARD WINNER 2023!
We are thrilled to announce that we have won an International Property Award for New Small Hotel Construction & Design, Cheshire, for The Old Post Office in Warrington, which we delivered on behalf of our client, Deuce Hotels.
The Old Post Office in Warrington is a Grade II listed building that was last occupied in 2017 and has been vacant ever since. Nathan Priestley, Founder and CEO of Priestley Group, said: “Our aim was to deliver the best hotel in town for our clients, whilst also being sympathetic to the original listed building and keeping within a strict budget for the boutique hotel operator client. We finished the 21-room hotel last year. Each room is unique with its own kitchen and bathroom, and it’s already become a top-rated hotel that has set the bar in terms of quality and style in Warrington.”

‘I am a season ticket holder at Liverpool and enjoy following them all around Europe, I am also a keen boxing fan and normally get to 5/6 big fights every year.’
Today we remember, the heroes that made sacrifices for us all at times of war. Our thoughts and prayers are with all people effected by war.

'Success is a collection of problems solved.'
Throwback to the stunning Islinghaus apartments, London.
A run of the mill challenge can easily come to define the entire project initiative.
One of the bigger challenges we faced at our Packington Street project included having to raise the roof a mere 300mm whilst keeping the protected structure intact and comply with modern day planning requirements of achieving minimum head heights.
We successfully tackled this challenge by installing lightweight panelled timber frames with a brick slip system, rather than traditional build so no further pressure was put on the structure.
We specialise in conversions and refurbishments of both commercial and residential properties.
Congratulations to our employee of the month Mark Hoyland, Senior Site Manager at Great George Street. Highlights include winning Junes Health & Safety award, securing the best audit in the company’s history.
Thank you for all your hard work!
