Armstrongs would like to wish team member Callum Riddleston good luck in the Bowls England national finals next week.

Callum is representing Leicestershire in the National Finals of the under 25 pairs competition in Leamington Spa with his bowls partner Fynn Kyser.

Callum and Fynn started playing bowls at a very young age and have played together for 12 years. They have both taken part in the national finals in singles competitions in previous years, but this is the first time they will compete as a pair.

They are thankful to everyone who has supported them over the years and will give their all to bring the title back to Leicestershire. Their first game is against Warwickshire on 28th August.

2024 Has Come to an End... Slater Street Art has been Graced with International Artists from Romania, Montreal Canada, Netherlands, Romania, Broughton Astley and Birmingham etc etc. 11 Arches of Animation, Street Art and Letter Play along with a Fabulous Last Supper on the Rear of Slater Street Bowls Club.

The Town had been Painted Red (along with every other colour under the Sun,) courtesy of Log onto their Website, App and Explore...

Thank you to all Artists, for their Sound System Saturday, Organisers and Support Crew behind the Scenes, for putting up with the upheaval and Our Volunteers who looked after 30 Potential New Bowlers, Public popping in for a Beer or a Bite to Eat along with those who Enjoyed a Free P*e use of the Toilets. Several thousand people had seen Slater Street's Art journey on Social Media and Load upon Load had trawled through Slater Street Bowls Club Car Park, Attracted by Art and are Expected to keep coming to Photo the Painting and Post on Facebook and Instagram.

Not Everyone's Cup of Tea, but Bowls has a Bright Future if we continue to BIG UP The Bowls Club and Engage with the Local Community. THANK YOU EVERYONE.
