This week we had an IPC inspection! Which we gained 98% overall score!! Well done Holmes Court & every member of staff!! Your hard work, never goes unnoticed!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

"Holmes Court welcomed my mum when she arrived back in January, from hospital. Since then she has had Brilliant care.

They have looked after her through her confusion ensuring that she was safe.

The staff have organised events and encouraged Mum to go along,(Mum tends to like her room) and she had a great time.

Very caring staff, sorry that due to travelling I need to move Mum.”

A massive well done to the whole team on scoring a 97% on the recent infection control inspection. To achive this we had to score a good result in all 3 domains.

"I had been dreading the need for my wife to go into a care home, but as soon as I stepped through the doors of Holmes Court Care Home I felt more relaxed.

My daughter and I quickly got to know many of the management team and staff were most impressed by their concern and care for residents.

This care and concern was directed to me during the hours 36 hours I was allowed to spend with my wife before her death”

We would like to give a massive shoutout to our very own Jordan Barratt for passing her level 2 apprenticeship with a merit!

Our very own Michael Smith aka Barry Harry the Bus Driver is going on a sponsored diet/weight loss to raise money for one of his homes.

He realised just how often he ends up going for a meal out with the residents when taking them on a trip out and decided, this must stop!

So each week he will do a wight in and let us know how he is progressing, today pictures are where we are starting. Barry has said he would like to 2st if not more. All money raised will be put into the resident's funds for one of his homes drawn at random.

We have asked the Homes to sponsor him if you want to take part please let your manager know, and if Barry tries to be naughty whilst out with you please make sure you stop him!
