Hi folks!

Firstly, a huge thank you to you all for supporting our guest Aussie menu right to the last minute of service! We feel so lucky to have had such an incredible chef working with us and we truly made some great memories and learnt lots too. Jamie, you will be HELLA missed. You are awesome. 🎉

Secondly, it’s time for us to take a short break. The Verandah will be closed from 15th - 22nd January. We will be using this time to refresh, rejuvenate and bring you a great new menu ☺️ Also spend some with my family who have missed me a lot! we’ll see you all soon, thank you for bearing with us ♥️

Yesterday marked 33 years this beautiful lady has graced this world! I’ve had the honour and privilege of sharing the last 5 years with her. From dating to being engaged, to being married and now parents the most amazing kids! Thank you for unconditional love and support through the life’s up and downs!

I want to thank you for everything that you do for us all and you do it without asking for anything in return!

We have seriously upped the sharing tapas game at 🏆 On our table tonight we shared:

- Warm Olive Foccacia from the outstanding dipping oil and Dukkah

- Crispy Fried Potatoes on a bed of slow-roasted tomato sauce and garlic aioli

- THE MOST TENDER CHICKEN YOU WILL EVER TRY! Chimichurri Chicken with our house sauces. Honestly divine.

I JUST HAD THIS AND ITS THE BEST AVO ON TOAST I’VE EVER HAD! 🥑🍞

Okay so not only does it look like a delectable beauty, but we’ve got delicately spiced smashed avo with sweet pea(!), pomegranate jewels, picked onion and salty feta all on a griddled sour dough. I mean, this is genuinely the brunch of dreams! 🛌 😍

Im not usually a fan of pomegranate on salty dishes but I found myself looking for them! 😂

brunch menu is now LIVE! We genuinely have something for everyone, including little tummies! Our 2 year old tried the warm coconut and oat porridge this morning, but it was our 7 month old who couldn’t get enough! See you all soon Verandahites, this is such an exciting time!
