Over the past thirty years Leicester Comedy Festival has gone from strength to strength and despite the impact of Coronavirus, when we were forced to go virtual, continues to grow – returning to a live festival in 2022, which featured over 560 shows, over 800 performances and 64 venues.

The festival is produced by a registered charity, Big Difference who work year round to improve people’s lives through comedy, laughter and the arts.

Today's the day!

Jokes on Us Festival starts today, part of Leicester Comedy Festival - me and the Jokes on Us gang will be running 150 shows at Manhattan34, The Exchange Bar, 45 West Bottle Shop & Bar and LCB Depot.

Every single show is 'Pay What You Want'.

It's free to turn up, and you pay what you feel it's worth at the end, with no pressure to pay at all. (You can also book tickets in advance on the Leicester Comedy Festival website to guarantee yourself a seat!)

If you're looking to see some Comedy Festival shows but not sure what to see, it's a great way to take a punt and discover something new.

Plenty of award winning comics and tv names performing, alongside some great upandcomers and rising stars.

We start tonight with shows at Manhattan34, 45 West and Exchange, plus shows at LCB Depot starting Friday.
