*Personal Assistant/Carer Job Vacancy*

- This position is generally only open for women (this complies with S7 (2B) of the SDA 1975).

Personal support required to assist a young disabled female looking for more independence based in Leicester. The role will involve helping with homecare such as meal preparation and household management plus support with personal health care. Duties will include completing administrative tasks (managing diaries, organising medical files and updating medical records). The role will also require support commuting to work, support during work and attending social events or/and trips to the cinema and the like.

Location: ​Leicester area, details of the university campus and other sites will be advised. Opportunities may arise to assist with hospital and social visits, out of Leicester.

Hours: A typical shift would be during daytime hours 09:00 – 17:00 however part time and relief roles will be required to cover outside of these timings. Some support will be required to travel outside of Leicester. Timings may vary accordingly.
Package: Negotiable salary depending on experience. Salary will be paid monthly proportionally based on level of support provided.
