A Customer had a new kitchen extension built and wanted me to check what the Electrician did as they wasn’t confident with him.

The install is very poor. Just because it works doesn’t mean it’s safe. A Few sockets had no earth and the oven cable was connected with wagos shoved down the back of the oven housing, exposed live copper at every terminal.

My 7 year old could’ve done a better job.

If you’ve had an extension done recently I recommend you get the electrics done or checked by myself. 9/10 jobs will be ok but it could be like shower of 💩.

Don’t trust the builders Electrician. Make sure they’re registered and have the skills and experience needed.
