Effective October 7, 2024, Stacy Charpentier will replace Phil Valentine as Executive Director of the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR).

With over 11 years of experience in the field of recovery and advocacy, Stacy has consistently demonstrated a passion for empowering individuals in recovery and fostering community engagement. Her dedication and innovative approach make her an ideal leader for guiding CCAR through its next phase of growth and impact.

She shares, "I am deeply humbled and honored to step into the role of Executive Director at CCAR, a place that has been my professional home for over a decade. My journey with CCAR has been one of growth, learning, and a deep commitment to our mission. Working at CCAR has never been just a job to me - it is a passion, and I am dedicated to ensuring Phil's legacy thrives through this transition."
