Beyond excited to reveal the incredible Winter 2024 Cover!! 🌟 by the super talented Matt matandhiscat There are twelve little ghosties hiding in the artwork, each with their own christmas hat, have a good look 👀👻🌟

“The 12 ghosts of Christmas is a fun nod to the British tradition of ‘The Christmas Ghost Story’. Families gathering around the hearth to tell chilling tales was a popular tradition in the Victorian era.”

Matt is a pen & paper architectural illustrator based in Lincoln, where he runs his small business from his home studio. He produces detailed commissions for local and global clients, as well as creating original illustrations of landmarks and buildings currently focussed on Lincoln. In late 2023 he completed his ‘Haunted Lincoln’ illustration composing of 36 intricate drawings of Lincoln buildings, with wee ghosties hiding in the windows, a nod to Lincoln’s haunted history.

Introducing the cover for the Autumn Edition 🍁👻🎃 and this one’s THE MOST DELICIOUS COVER YET!! The awesome Mel from Cake It Or Leave It - Lincoln has baked up the most beautiful gothic, autumnal style cake, gorgeously handmade and decorated from her Lincoln-based cake studio.

Incredibly talented and award-winning cake creator and sculptor Mel Jablonski has been whipping up amazing creations since 2012 and is in serious demand for her versatile skills. It’s about time Mel was on the cover, she has featured in every single edition of the Little Book of Small Business since it’s inception and her beautiful cakes have consistently been a HUGE hit!!

If you are in need of a bespoke cake for an occasion coming up don’t hesitate to give her a shout, she is the most wonderful, approachable person and there’s literally nothing she can’t do!!! Her speciality cakes and animal sculptures have won her multiple awards at Cake International Competitions.

Soo excited to let you know that the Summer Edition has arrived, and copies are now available, yayy!🎊 This edition is PACKED with amazing individuals and some brand new businesses; new exhibition spaces, local eateries, entertainment, artists and photographers, an exciting wedding fair, event spaces, wellness professionals, and we have a brand new feature focusing on Caistor’s talented ‘Female Founders’.

Adorned with the vibrant ‘Shopping Small and Local’ artwork inspired by the people and landmarks of Lincoln, by the brilliant Mel Langton Art. You can catch Mel at the Waterside Shopping Centre this Saturday 6th July for their Artisan Market and then at The Lincoln County Assembly Rooms on Sunday 14th July - go and have a chat with her and a ganders at her work 👀

If you were a part of the ‘Big Spring Event’ last April, you may find yourself on the centre spread, we’ve captured some fab moments from the day! A massive thank you to all who got involved, the whole atmosphere was terrific!!💞

Coming in 2025, Lincolnshire Foodies will incorporate food festival events showcasing the best of Lincolnshire produce, including local producers, street food, beverages and food related items.

INTRODUCING THE SUMMER 2024 COVER!! 💖💖 Delighted to announce that this year’s Summer Cover has been designed by the utterly wonderful Mel Langton Art 💛 Mel is a Lincoln-based freelance designer and illustrator who creates unique, vibrant and uplifting original artwork, custom portraits, prints, cards, clothing, homewares and surface pattern design.

If you’re local to Lincoln, I have no doubt that you will have seen Mel’s art in action, from Lincoln Summer Scene artwork, art trail sculptures, Lincoln railway station designs for EMR to window designs for Ask Italian Mel’s artwork is synonymus with Lincoln and she is very active in the whole county’s creative endeavours.

Wow!! What a weekend 🎉 My first event done and dusted and it was marvellous! All thanks to the wonderful stallholders that made this The Big Spring Event so special and to everyone who attended, your support very much appreciated.

To the fabulous Emily and team at Southside Lincoln your support and kindness has been invaluable and your venue just stunning! Also thanks a million to my other half Jacob Fotheringham and brother Eddie for kindly and patiently helping with logistics, unloading and generally being legends all day!! 💖💖

The amazing Mel Cake It Or Leave It - Lincoln whipped up the most beautiful and delicious cake just for the event ⭐️ mimicking the cake artwork on the front cover of complete with tiny edible Little Books on the top! We all thoroughly enjoyed a slice after the event 😋

Thanks to Ruddocks for generously supporting the market, both in the preparation and in person on the day, very kind and much appreciated!

Stunning photography throughout the event by the fabulous Camila Lincoln Branding Photography and the equally marvellous Headshot Toby who both - as you can see - captured the day amazingly, absolute stars ⭐️⭐️

This is a very special celebratory edition adorned with the gorgeous ‘Independent Makers Parade’ artwork created by the talented and if you take a look on the back cover you’ll see all nine editions that have preceded it, just showing the variety and talent from past covers.

Inside you will find an array of new faces plus; talented local entrepreneurs, exhibitions, creative classes, crafting communities, artists, delicious food, wellness experts, plus fantastic local shops and markets.
