No matter the season, SPF is your skin’s best friend! Yes, even on cloudy days in the middle of winter! Here’s why you should keep that sunscreen handy throughout the year:
1. UVA Rays Are Always Around: Unlike UVB rays, UVA rays (which age your skin and contribute to cancer) are present during all daylight hours, all year long, and can pe*****te clouds and even glass
2. Prevent Premature Aging: Daily exposure to sun rays accelerates signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines. Regular use of SPF can significantly slow down these effects. Love the skin you’re in by protecting it every day!
3. Reduce Cancer Risk: Skin cancer doesn’t have an off-season. Protecting your skin is crucial to reducing your risk, making daily SPF application a must. 🛡️
4. Snow & Water Reflection: If you’re hitting the slopes or enjoying winter sports, remember that snow reflects up to 80% of UV rays, almost doubling your exposure! Water acts similarly during the summer.
5.
Remember, a little sunscreen a day keeps the wrinkles away!
Let’s keep our skin healthy and beautiful all year round!

When you attend a consultation with me it’s just a part of the treatment process. Should you have visited a clinic in the past and not had a consultation prior to treatment that raises questions about the clinics procedures. I would always insist on a consultation prior to treating a new patient.
During the consultation you will be asked for your medical history, any medication you take, and if you have any allergies.
We will also discuss your desired outcome and make sure our expectations are aligned.
It’s also a chance for us to get to know each other so you feel safe and secure in clinic and you know even before we start that everything has been covered.
Of course if you have any questions at all please ask away!
No question is a silly question and I’d rather answer lots of questions rather than you be filled with trepidation about the treatment or worried whether or not you will have the result you came for. I’m here to allay any concerns you have and guide you through every step of the process.
Even before a consultation you’re welcome to message me here with any questions too x

Remember back to when we were young, ladies of a certain age didn’t have long hair, and if they did it was in a little “granny bun”.
👗 Mums were “mumsy” and at the age of 45 they had perms, used a hot brush, and a light coating of “heather shimmer” was about as far as the make up went.
💄 Teenagers had black liner to the lash line, orange foundation that wouldn’t have been a close match to any human beings skin tone, unless they identified as something you’d find in the fruit bowl, and bimbo pink lippy!
☎️ A “hack” was a bad cough, a “dupe” was an aftershave (Joop) and if you wanted to “block” someone you could just take the phone off the hook.
👁🗨These days we have evolved as humans and have so many more things available to us.
💿 Teenagers now look so much older with their perfect contouring, various hair and up to date fashions, and the over 40’s brigade are aging like a fine Beaujolais.
👄 Fillers, no wrinkles and perfect teeth were once for Hollywood celebrities.
Now they are for everyone.
🪞 These days you can be who you want to be, look how you want to look, and wear whatever you deem fit.
👵 If you want to embrace growing old by letting nature take it cause there is absolutely nothing wrong in that mindset at all. Equally if you want to go on strike against Mother Nature and look younger than your years, that is fine too.
⏰If you are wanting to turn back the hands of time,I can help. You can start with having a really good skincare routine and go from there.
🙏🏼Please feel free to send me a message if you’d like a helping hand with the ageing process.

Have you heard the buzz about polynucleotides? These powerhouse ingredients are taking the skincare world by storm, and here’s why they’re becoming a must-have in everyone’s beauty routine. Let’s dive into the magic of polynucleotides!
What Are Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are naturally occurring molecules found in DNA and RNA. They play a crucial role in cellular regeneration and repair, making them a game-changer for skin rejuvenation. Think of them as the ultimate skin healers!
Why Are They So Popular?
Anti-Aging Wonders: Polynucleotides help stimulate collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Who doesn’t want to turn back the clock?
Deep Hydration: They boost the skin’s hydration levels by enhancing the natural moisture barrier. Say goodbye to dry, flaky skin and hello to a dewy, plump complexion!
Healing Power: Polynucleotides aid in the repair of damaged skin cells, making them perfect for post-treatment recovery or for anyone dealing with skin issues like scars or sun damage.
Brightening Effect: These molecules help to even out skin tone and reduce pigmentation, giving you that sought-after radiant glow.
Safe and Natural: Being naturally derived, polynucleotides are well-tolerated by most skin types, making them a safe addition to your skincare routine.
Have you tried polynucleotides yet? Share your experience in the comments below!

1. The injectable treatments I offer in clinic are medical treatments not beauty treatments. This is why it’s important to use a medical professional when you step into the world of aesthetics. The fact that some injectables are prescription only says it all. Of course the treatments make you feel and look amazing but be mindful there is a lot of skill and training involved, facial anatomy, complications training and emergency procedures. You are in very safe hands if in the rare occasion that something out of the norm happens. No panic stations, no flapping, no ghosting. It’s a part of what I do.
2. Im a medical professional not a sales person. I don’t get you in clinic and try and upsell all kinds of things to you. If you have a problem area then I can treat you for that is, if and only if you mention it.
3. Contrary to popular belief it is not mainly younger women who have treatments. It’s not all big trout pouts and things to make you look fake. As I’ve said before the best treatments are undetectable. Many of my patients are 40 plus and have subtle enhancements so subtle that no one would even think they’d had treatment. We can’t make you 10 years younger but we can slow the ageing process by good skincare, treatments and not all of them are injectables.

🩺 Specialist in Aesthetics and Skin Clinic
Dehydration:
* Caffeine Content: Energy drinks are high in caffeine, which is a diuretic. This means it increases the amount of urine you produce, leading to dehydration.
* Skin Impact: Dehydration can make your skin look dull, dry, and less elastic. It can also exacerbate fine lines and wrinkles.
Breakouts and Acne:
* High Sugar Levels: Energy drinks often contain high amounts of sugar, which can spike insulin levels and lead to increased oil production.
* Skin Impact: Excess oil can clog pores, leading to acne and breakouts. High sugar intake is also linked to inflammation, which can worsen acne.
Inflammation:
* Ingredients: Ingredients like artificial colours, flavours, and preservatives can cause inflammation in some individuals.
* Skin Impact: Chronic inflammation can damage collagen and elastin, leading to premature aging, redness, and irritation.
Hormonal Imbalance:
* Caffeine and Sugar: Both caffeine and sugar can impact your hormone levels.
* Skin Impact: Hormonal imbalances can trigger acne and other skin issues, especially in individuals who are already prone to these conditions.
Reduced Sleep Quality:
* Caffeine: The high caffeine content in energy drinks can interfere with sleep patterns.
* Skin Impact: Poor sleep can lead to dark circles under the eyes, puffiness, and a sallow complexion. Chronic sleep deprivation affects the skin’s ability to repair itself, leading to signs of aging.
Glycation:
* High Sugar Intake: Consuming large amounts of sugar can lead to a process called glycation, where sugar molecules bind to collagen and elastin proteins.
* Skin Impact: Glycation makes these proteins stiff and less functional, leading to a loss of skin elasticity, sagging, and the formation of wrinkles.
*
While an occasional energy drink might not cause significant harm, regular consumption can negatively impact your skin’s health and appearance. By understanding these effects and taking steps to mitigate them, you can help maintain healthy, radiant skin. 🌟
