Happy Manchester Pride! 🌈

Le Marais in Paris, where our restaurant draws its inspiration, has been a vibrant and welcoming district for people of all walks of life, including the LGBTQ+ community, for decades. Diversity is not just accepted, it is celebrated, and that is something that we very much echo here at Maray.

This year we are supporting in its vision for a world where HIV holds no one back by donating £1 from the sale of each of our Pride specials.

The specials will be available from today until Monday 26th August at our Manchester site.

Great way to start your weekend, dining al fresco with a small town chase in hand - a staff fave, tequila shaken with mezcal, lime and our own house made strawberry and coriander syrup served on the rocks with half a salty lime zested rim 🍋‍🟩

Nothing says lunch quite like a big plate of falafel 🧆

Made even better with a carafe of Bold street’s head bartender Jess’ summer sangria - she’s made a heavenly syrup from a whole array of glorious fresh berries, mixed with Lebanese red wine, triple sec and orange juice. Served with frozen grapes (also an amazing snack) and some big slices of grapefruit and orange. A true summer slurper!

🌞 JULY SPECIAL PLATES INCOMING 🌞

We’ve got some absolute worldies landing at all sites from tomorrow onwards!

First up is a belter - creamy burrata, served on top of some fresh, zingy chermoula with an earthy toasted seed honey.
Then, we have pan-fried sardines, served whole with a heavenly chraime sauce (think spiced tomato.. 🍅)
And lastly, a glorious summer salad. Comprised of heritage tomatoes, summer strawberries and a nutty muhammara. TASTY!

On until the end of the month - go go go! 🏃

Beautiful Bold St, which turns the grand old age of TEN in a couple of weeks. Shot recently by our very own

We’ll basically be spending the summer celebrating a decade of Maray - things kick off with a party at/outside Bold St on Sunday 2nd June from 1pm onwards all afternoon. Expect free falafel, merch giveaways, DJs, live music, a special collab cocktail with and much more - Full info dropping soon, can’t wait to celebrate with you all.

We’ll be saying this a lot over the coming weeks but honestly thanks so much to everyone that’s walked through the door of the tiny restaurant over the last ten years - it’s wild and humbling to think about how many of you we have served and we genuinely would not be here without you 🪩
