We are very proud to announce this year’s Summer Ball!

This event will be hosted on Sunday 4th June at Revolution Albert Dock from 6:30pm to 1am.

The attire is formal, so get your dresses, suits and ties on and prepare for a fantastic night filled with food, drink and great music!

Tickets are £35pp for this event and include the following:
• 2 Course Meal
• Arrival Drink
• 2 Drinks Vouchers
• A Favour Gift
• Photographer
• Entertainment by Long After Midnight

Given our Winter Ball last semester was the fastest selling semester one society event, we recommend getting your tickets ASAP! Last time they sold out in 2 days!

We would like to remind final year students about the ’Physics Around the World’ event happening tomorrow 15th March from 1pm at the Rotblat Lecture Theatre. This is a great opportunity to learn about careers after a degree in physics. Tickets are free and are found at the link below.

Nominations for remaining positions on the Physics Society are now open!

We are looking for people to fill the positions of Social Sec and Academic Sec.

You can nominate yourself for any position via the guild website:

•Go to My Nominations
•Write a short manifesto on why you think you are best suited for the role on the committee

If nominations for a role run with no competition, the single person who was nominated will be instantly elected onto the committee without a vote needing to take place.
