For many Christians, Easter is a celebration of the triumph of life over death, and a very important time of the year. Many non-Christians also have a holiday at this time, whatever your beliefs we hope you are enjoying this special time with your family and friends
As January comes to a close and our new years resolutions hold strong (or not!) let's appreciate and follow the words of advice given below ♥️
Lest we forget ❤️
-“I’ve learnt to deal with it”
-“I’m too embarrassed”
-“I don’t want to appear weak”
-“I don’t want to be a burden to anyone”
-“There’s a negative stigma around this”
But here’s the wonderful, beautiful thing about society. Real men do cry. Real men do feel. Real men talk and grieve and will accept an emotional soul instead of an imprisoned one. 💙

Every year the country comes together for Remembrance Sunday. A period of silence is held at 11am to remember the people who have died in wars around the world. Remembrance Day is on Saturday this year - and marks the actual day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918. - Lest we forget - ❤️
One of the biggest things you learn as a Funeral Director is that, despite everything, there’s really so much love in this world. It is honestly such a privilege and mightily humbling to witness it every day 💚

✨ To all of our Muslim families, friends and colleagues celebrating, Happy Islamic New Year!
Love is expressed in many different ways at a funeral, one of them being through flowers. We love the colours in this particular bereavement bouquet from a funeral we conducted last month.
There’s something special about someone’s family and friends gathered around to send them off with hymns 💚
We do love receiving all your lovely reviews on Google. Thank you for these kind words Tanya 💚

🎩 This morning we said farewell to a special gentleman. He loved his dog and the family wanted to incorporate that aspect of him into his funeral, which is the flower tribute you can see on top of the hearse here. Sleep well, good sir 🫡
Good Grief! Del Hughes gets the kitchen roll out for a bereavement breakdown Del Hughes Right now I’m ugly-crying, the bin’s brimming with sodden kitchen-roll (Regina XXL), and my eyelids are so swollen I can barely see. I’ve eaten crap all day. . . Wotsits, French Fancies and a sharing bag of Revels, which I certainly didn’t share. There’s a pain in my chest that ...
🎩 Today we es**rted this much loved and dearly missed lady on her final journey. It was lovely to see to community stop and pay their respects to her 💚

"Woodford Green Funeral Directors is highly recommended! They made such a difficult time feel as less stressful as possible which is so vital. They were always open to answering any queries and so attentive at all hours. Nothing was too much to ask for and all dates were met on time even at short notice. The headstone turned out better than imagined so everyone was pleased! Most importantly, the service provided was extremely professional and caring which is so imperative. Again, I highly recommend Woodford Green Funeral Directors if you want a smooth and efficient service!" - Suela
June is Sands Awareness Month, an annual event to raise awareness of the facts and impacts relating to neonatal deaths and stillbirths.
