⭐️MEET THE FOUNDER⭐️

Hi, I’m Bethany, founder of BB Broadway! It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself and we’ve had a few new followers so thought it a great time to show the face behind the gram!

I’m originally from Kent and after living in London for 10 years, have just moved to the south east suburbs with my partner, for the quiet weekends and green spaces!

I love a chai latte and cinnamon roll and when I’m not working I’m either at Pilates or binge watching Below Deck.

I’m a professional musical theatre performer who graduated from Bird College in 2013. Since then I have gone on to work as a vocalist and actor internationally, performing in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, 2 Become 1 and at West End Live.

After teaching for 6 years and absolutely loving seeing little faces light up at sound and music, I decided to start my own brand, combining my love and training in theatre, with my passion for teaching.

I wanted to create safe and inclusive spaces for kids to express themselves through theatre as well as create a gender neutral and inclusive curriculum in the baby and toddler market, sonething which is really lacking in early years education and care!

I’m still performing alongside running the business (catch me in panto every year around the country!) and am so proud the business gives me and other actors the flexibility and security to pursue performing, whilst still singing everyday and being valued in their work.

I knew running a business would be a lot of work but I never realised all the jobs I’d turn my hand to! Teacher, business manager, social media content creator, prop designer, kit shopper, courier, head of marketing (lots of stomping the pavements with flyers), web designer, HR liaison, accountant, song writer, partnership and collabs, admin and no 1 brand hype girl.

I’m super grateful to my wonderful team as well as family, friends, customers and supporters who have kept my little baby going these last 4 years, here’s to the next 40!

💙FATHER’S DAY CLASS💙

Join us this Sunday June 16th in The Treehouse for a special class dedicated to dads, fathers, grandads and the father figure in your family.

We’ll be singing songs from Lion Ling, Jersey Boys as well as the classic hit ‘We Are Family’.

Class includes Makaton sign language and are a great opportunity to create special Father’s Day memories with your little one.

Our inclusive sessions aim to represent all versions of family and we’re passionate about making our sessions a welcoming space for all parents.

With a coffee shop onsite, it’s a great chance to meet other local families and enjoy a catch up after class.

🧸DROP OFF SOFT PLAY🧸

Booking for London’s first ever drop off soft play is now open!

Our next event will be Thursday March 28th from 10am-4pm.

Drop the kids off with the BB Broadway team then either enjoy a hot coffee undisturbed in the club house or go run some errands wherever you need to be!

We are so passionate about making childcare simple, flexible and affordable so you can book a 45 minute supervising soft play session where children will be cared for by DBS and first aid accredited staff, all with huge childcare experience, whilst take some personal time to do just whatever you need!

There will be a 1:5 adult to child ratio and lots of games, books, dress up corner, ride on toys and eco soft play for kids to enjoy.

We are a proudly owner and run female owned business. The women that make up our team are an incredible bunch of tenacious, driven and ambitious people who really make our classes what they are!

We are really passionate about removing gender stereotypes from the early years and theatre sector and so love a day dedicated to celebrating strong female role models.

Whether it be our amazing mothers in class, getting kids dressed and out the house, whilst taking on huge amounts of mental load (!) to the female characters we represent in class, we are all about positive female representation. Female farmer old MacDonald made a special appearance today and we are always showing there is more to the girls than dolly and fairy!

📚HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY!📚

We are loving seeing all the amazing outfits going into schools and nurseries today so a huge well done to parents for all the behind the scenes prep, seeing, sourcing and shopping!

As storytellers by nature, we love world book day, the opportunity for kids to learn about amazing characters and worlds and broaden their understanding and empathy of the world they live in.

Reading with your little one, from as young as 3 months can be a great way to introduce colour, animals, pattern as well as create great peaceful bonding time.

Booking is now open for our Sunday classes this term! We are running 2 special Sunday sessions this term, including a Mother’s Day special and we’d love you to join us!

Join us for your dose of musical theatre, with a class designed for all the family! Each ticket is valid for one child and 2 adults so is a great chance to create family memories together.

We’ll be singing the songs of a new Broadway or West End show every week as well as developing our emotional, social, physical and linguistic skills with our progressive music-based curriculum.

These Sunday specials will take place at a brand new venue for us, in The Trunk with an on-site coffee shop, baby changing facilities and a view over the park, it’s a stunning space for a Sunday morning class and coffee!

🌟MACARONI PENGUIN 2024🌟

Our spring term at the fabulous is starting has just begun and booking is now open!

We run at this amazing family club all week with a full timetable of theatre, baby and toddler sessions, and environmental art and craft!

This beautiful venue serves bubble tea, gorgeous waffles and has an incredible soft play area for children to enjoy while the adults catch up over a coffee!

🥁OUR BABY AND ME/TODDLER AND ME groups will be learning about splashing in the rain and colours to the music of Singing in the rain and Hairspray as well as hunting for Easter eggs later in the term!

🎭Our LITTLE STARS THEATRE group will be working towards a special Easter performance as well as learning music from Frozen, the new Barbie film and more!

🎨Our CREATIVE CRAFT session also has a strong focus on the environment and outside world, with children having the opportunity to explore the gardens outside and forage for natural and organic art materials.
