From swallowing, sucking and breathing to listening to your voice and other sounds in their environment -your little one is forming millions of new connections in their brain each second while in the womb, so now is a great time to start interacting with your little one if you're pregnant!

One tip is to start reading to your little one when you're pregnant. Reading to your bump is a great way of getting into the habit of reading books once your baby arrives and is also a great way for your partner to connect with your baby too 😁

More cuddles are good! 🤗

Physiology and research provide overwhelming evidence that kangaroo mother care (i.e. skin-to-skin contact) is not only safe but superior to the use of technology such as incubators. Depriving babies of skin-to-skin makes alternative stress pathways in the brain, which can lead to ADD, colic, sleep disorders, among other things.

In fact, there are loads of benefits to skin-to-skin contact, and we've listed a few of them in this post 😍

Pregnancy can lead to changes in many of your daily routines and habits, including what you eat and how much exercise you get. But most of all: Women’s bodies change during pregnancy to ensure that their unborn children get enough food and other things that they need 🤰

One of the biggest changes you'll notice is an increase in weight: most pregnant women gain between 10kg and 12.5kg (22lb to 26lb).

While this weight gain starts happening early in your pregnancy, it will be far more noticeable in the final months of pregnancy. And while some of this weight gain is obviously from your little one growing, it's also from all the extra fluid (water) in the body needed for things like the baby’s circulation, the placenta and the amniotic fluid.

- trust yourself and don't listen to every piece of external advice

- important yes BUT fixating can cause unneeded stress
