Pssssst! So we have some tea for you! Both in the literal sense, with Jasmin, Oolong, Matcha and other Tea’s to tantalise your tastebuds, buuuuut we have some other juuuuuuuuicy gossip for you!! 🤫

So we’ve been open in Windsor for a few months now (give us a follow on our dedicated page ) and over this time we’ve learned about some of our famous neighbours and local residents. Obviously we have Prince Charles next door in Windsor castle, who we know for sure loves a bit of fluff. But word has it Sir Elton John has a sprawling estate just down the road, and since launching our delivery service we’ve heard he likes to indulge with some super fluffy pancakes in the comfort of his own home! 🤩

Now I cannot confirm or deny the truth of this story, but imagine in a gold sequin tracksuit with his signature eyeglasses, jiggling his fluffy delights in his massive mansion 🤩 what a legend!

So next time you fancy a cheeky little jiggle in the comfort of your own home, jump on or and you can get your super fluffy pancakes delivered straight to your sprawling estate*!

Ohhhh, Hello Fluffy!!

Yah, so we’ve just opened a new shop in Mayfair, dahhhlings!

Yah, yah… not too far from Green Park Station, the address is 23 Berkeley Street W1J 8EG

Directions? Ok, so opposite the Ritz hotel is Berkeley Street. Walk straight up Berkeley Street, and stay on the left side of, Berkeley Street. If you’re on the right, you may be tempted to stop at a rather bougie coffee shop, where they sell a cup of coffee for £15! Yes dahhhlings, you heard me right, FIFTEEN POUNDS for a cup of coffee. Yes dahhhhlings, just one cup. No dahhhlings, not the jungle cat p**p coffee from Indonesia. Yes dahhhhlings, tastes like a regular coffee. Yah, so don’t be a fool like me who frequents this shop, daily!

Apologies. I diagress….. have I said it’s on Berkeley Street already?? Anyway, stick to the left side of Berkeley Street and walk straight past Novikov restaurant until you get to the Rolls Royce car showroom. Oh and please be a dahhhhling and pop in there to ask the chaps when my custom fluffy wrapped Rolls Royce will be delivered?! I knowww dahhhlings, I still haven’t got it! Shocking that I’ve been waiting two days already?!

Once you’ve done that, cross the road, and please do be sure not to get run over by a Ferrari, then continue on Berkeley Street towards Berkeley Square. You’ll pass the Mayfair Hotel and then the Palm Beach Casino. Don’t even think about it! Gambling is haram dahhhlings! Continue just a few more yards and you’ll see we are diagonally opposite Sexyfish!

Yes dahhhlings, we will have some Sexyfluff ready for you! Mwahaha mwuahahahahaha!

If you think about it, Pancake Day is kinda like Christmas Day, feasting on Turkey and all the trimmings (obvs in this case, pancakes and all the toppings)…. 🤔

Stay with me on this….. so the following day is Boxing Day, where it’s more than appropriate to continue feasting, right?

Therefore, in that same vein… today is technically PANCAKE BOXING DAY where it’s more than OK to even MORE pancakes??!! 🤯

No?? 🤨 Okay, maybe that doesn’t make sense and I can’t get that to stick, but I’m just trying to give extra reasons why we should be eating more pancakes 🙏

But I guess with a super fluffy pancake spread like this, do you really need an excuse?!! 🙌

NO is the answer! Come and get your super fluffy pancakes ALL DAY, EVERYDAY, here at FUWA FUWA!

Pancakes so plump, I think we may need to change our name to Plumpy Plumpy Pancakes…. Trademark that straight away!! 🏃

I joke, but in all seriousness, we have been battling a trademark lawsuit recently against a business from another country, which bares the same name, serving similar products, and had the audacity to sell a franchise here in the U.K. which opened in Manchester! 🤬 And although we started before them, they managed to get the trademark before us! 😫 I knowwww! Big mistake on my part for not registering earlier!!

Anyway, we’ve kept fairly quiet, kept doing what we do, fighting this case whilst living with the anxiety, and very real possibility that we could lose our name and the identity that we worked soooo flu*fing hard to build, from scratch! 😔

It would have been a hell of a lot cheaper to just change our name and rebuild. But in my heart I just knew I couldn’t give up, just as a matter of principle! We were THE FIRST to bring this concept not just to the U.K, but to the western world! before them and before anyone else!

So, after a very, very expensive and very, very, very, stressful legal case, I am relieved to say that their U.K. trademark was cancelled and has now been awarded to us! Justice was done and rightfully so!

It may be arrogant for me to say, but they’ve been riding on our coat tails and benefitted from our successes for the longest time! But anyway, what’s done is done. let’s hope karma can work it’s magic in one way, shape or form 🙏

So although we may not have much money left, we are once again PROUD to be FUWA FUWA™ - The UK’s FIRST and ORIGINAL Japanese Soufflé Pancake Store 🥺😭

Thank you to all those that have supported us from the start, to the ones that continuously show their support, and to those who are only just discovering us. We wouldn’t be Fuwa Fuwa without you guys 🙏

Absolutely incredible! I know this was just a little 5 minute TV clip and will probably be forgotten about tomorrow, but for me personally, this was momentous! A memory I will look back on and cringe, but an immensely proud moment that I will always treasure xx
