Some of our Team headed to Cape Town this January and visited the wineries in Stellenbosch. As their Cab Sav is our ‘staff favourite’ wine; it was one we couldn’t miss. We got to wander the vines and sample a lot of their other products. During the tasting our favourite was the 2022 Sauvignon blanc - although that could be due to the 36 degree heat!! Bartinney’s old vines are planted 550m above sea level with slopes as steep as 45 degrees. Their belief is that every aspect must work in harmony: agriculture with nature, people with animals, sustainability with excellence. If you want to hear more pop in for a chat with me and the Boys (plus a glass of Cab Sav to match)!
The end to a fun week back! house herb oil made by our Italian olive oil queen👑. We open again Tuesday for more mayhem.
And we’re back! Hoping everyone had a relaxing break like we did. New bites dropping this week; with lots of options for those opting for veganuary - and our meat eaters too. Even a home made herb oil is in motion from our Italian mother of the bar !!!

Tipple Tuesday’s are back and this week we are biggin’ up this Bartinney from Stellenbosch, South Africa 🇿🇦 🍷
Think black currents, blueberries and green bell peppers with a crunchy oaky finish 🫐🫑
Our terrace is still open, so pop down this evening to have your first red of the Autumn 🍂
Did someone say Beaujolais Blanc?
Our beautiful Chardonnay is back in stock from Domaine Gaget in Cote du Py.
Citrus fruits, with a buttery finish, perfect for those rainy nights leading us into Autumn 🍂
Pop down to try , also available for take away! Please book via link below:

Tipple Tuesday’s kicking off again with this delicious Chardonnay from Beaujolais!
Just below Burgundy but with a little more warmth, this wine brings citrus fruits and white flowers with honey 🍯
The grapes are hand-harvested from a stony terroir and then fermented and aged for 6 months in oak barrels on fine lees for roundness, texture and honeyed notes.
From the cool gang up at , this wine is gem that’s not seen anywhere else around London Bridge , so be sure to get down for a glass of this, this summer ☀️
Tipple Tuesday’s are back again with this new Aligoté from Burgundy, hitting our wine list very soon!! 💥
Alice’s likes to refer to this grape as the ugly duckling of Burgundy. A lot like it’s distant cousin Chardonnay, this grape brings a citrus character, but with a gentle spiciness and nutty finish.
Expect lemon, brioche, pear and herbs 🌿 🍋
Another hidden gem from Domaine Chavy Chouet, Mersault, be sure to pop down to try soon!
For this week’s Tipple Tuesday, we are enjoying one of Alice’s favourite wines from the Rhone Valley!
Alice is always on the hunt for this wine and when she finds it, boy does she enjoy a glass or two, with friends on our terrace! ☀️
A rare, predominantly Grenache Blanc with other Rhone white varieties. The wine gives spiciness, earthiness, straw and spiced pear 🍐
Coming soon to our secret cellar! 💥
This week’s Tipple Tuesday is a double whammy of New Zealand reds! 🍇
Two of Ruairi’s favourite for all year round, we have a delicious Syrah from Craggy Range, hosting notes of dark red fruits and spices, from the warm climate of Hawkes Bay.
Then we have the Rocky Point Pinot Noir from Central Otago, a more elegant wine with meaty and raspberry characters. Both wines are hard to find so be sure to get down to the bar to try before we sell out!
📣 New artist announcement 📣
We’ve got an amazing painter from London, , in Tap & Bottle until the 10th September!
Her exhibition “Beginnings” is an explosion of colour that reflects the artist’s excitement for the world’s return to post-pandemic life – and a big shift in career and soon-to-be baby in her midst.
Please do come and join us for a glass on Sunday for the private viewing 🍷
There are still some fantastic pieces up for grabs from our artist in residence

Tipple Tuesdays is back! 🍇
This week’s tipple is a delightful rosé from La Tour Melas Winery called Idylle d’Achinos from Fthiotida in Greece.
This is Ruairi, our kiwi sommelier’s suggestion because he helped make this wine in the October harvest 2021! “This pale pink rosé has notes of violets, strawberry and concentrated red berry fruits, and it’s perfect for a warm summer’s afternoon.”
Last chance to check out our current artist in residence
His exhibition Their Egos Will Lead Them To This Future showcases ancient Greek figures, their attempts to take fate into their own hands and thus the punishments aligning with their arrogance.
Why don’t you come on in and check them out before it’s too late!
