Jerwood Foundation has awarded a grant of £10,000 to support Start the Press! at , Birmingham, as part of Ikon’s 60th anniversary year.
Open from 9 February until 21 April, the exhibition's centrepiece is a vintage, flatbed printing press from Wolverhampton School of Art, and includes a display of printmaking on loan from Jerwood Collection, including works by , , , and .yass, plus a series of prints by .

A brand new exhibition and events programme by Sheffield-based artist, DJ and broadcaster Ashley Holmes will open at Soft Ground in Sheffield on 22 February 2024 until 18 May 2024, commissioned by Arts Catalyst and supported by the Jerwood New Work Fund, Arts Council England, The Elephant Trust, and Henry Moore Foundation.
Presented as a constellation of structures for contemplation, rest and listening, Skylarking explores the relationship between landscapes, music and belonging, and is part of The Mouth in collaboration with Sheffield Museums.

We're delighted to share that the first artist showcase from this year's London Symphony Orchestra Jerwood Composer+ scheme has been announced. The world premiere of "Holding, breathing, beating" by Rufus Isabel Elliot takes place on Saturday 13th January 2024 at 7pm, at Jerwood Hall, LSO St Luke's.

Nonclassical have announced their 2023-25 Artists in Residence – Beatrice Ferreira, Harry Górski-Brown, Kendra Chiagoro-Noel, and Nneka Cummins.
The Nonclassical AiR scheme, supported by the Jerwood Developing Artists Fund, PRS Foundation’s The Open Fund and Vaughan Williams Foundation, has been developed to give four early career artists a 360-degree view of what it takes to be a composer in today’s musical landscape.
Selected for their variety, their potential contribution to the wider new music scene and their distinctive compositional output, the chosen Artists in Residence will be given a range of opportunities over the next two years, including paid commissions for the CoMA Festival, an orchestral commission for Southbank Sinfonia or Her Ensemble, releasing a track on Outside the Lines, Vol. 7 and workshops and mentoring throughout the scheme.

Our latest Toolkit was created using the insights and experiences of the Fellows and Alumni of the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme. It explores approaches to inclusivity along an individual’s journey with your organisation: recruitment, induction, support in post, and professional development and onward progression.

This collaborative exhibition responds to the sociohistorical significance of the site, originally used as a weaving and dyeworks. Adam and Marie create a series of audiovisual artworks informed by research into the building, its heritage and the effects of industrialisation on traditional weaving processes.

Determined to remember their friend, a group of classmates commit to throwing an annual party in her honour. It’s what she would have wanted. And year after year, they stuck to the tradition. Now in their twenties, another party is about to start. The cake has arrived safely, the buffet is all set, and the aux cable is finally working – but something doesn’t feel right.
As We Face The Sun is a stark and tender story about growing up, the pleasures of friendship, why we hold onto things and how we might start to let go.
The world premiere of a new play written by Kit Withington, directed by the Bush Theatre’s Artistic Director Lynette Linton and Young Company Director Katie Greenall.

Curated by Thomas Wells (Jerwood Curatorial Accelerator), SAM’S EDEN is a new exhibition featuring work by artists Yarli Allison, Suds McKenna and Michaela Razafima Nash.
SAM’S EDEN began as a q***r arts publication founded by Thomas Wells in Belfast in 2020; this exhibition marks a shift from publication to physical exhibition for the first time.
The exhibition will bring together responses to the q***r body occupying the physical and virtual realms, and reflect on the importance of sanctuary. It will include a wide variety of newly produced and pre-existing works around these themes.

Supported by the Jerwood , this part-time mentoring and workshop programme is designed to empower and support emerging theatre translators working into English, equipping them with the necessary skills and experience for a professional career.
Delivered by Foreign Affairs, the programme is a comprehensive and practical learning journey rooted in a ‘page-to-stage’ process. Participants will take part in readings with actors, group mentoring sessions, practical workshops, professional industry masterclasses and rehearsals. They will also receive one-to-one sessions with professional translators.
