βWomen belong in all spaces where decisions are being madeβ. A titan has departed our shores. US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died. Honoured to have lived in the same times as her. Of the 6 gender-discrimination cases Ginsburg argued in front of an all-male Supreme Court bench in the 1970s, she won 5. She was the epitome of speaking truth to power where was concerned. An advocate of judicial restraint, she was a force for good taking into consideration always the human factor. She dissented in high profile cases for the right reasons without paying a glance to criticism. This is a reminder for those of us left behind to do better in our own spaces. She will be missed. May her soul rest in peace. ππ½π’
