🖤 These are sad days for Sardinia 😢 as a stretch of land of more than 50 kilometers in length has burnt and it is gone forever. One of the oldest trees of Sardinia, over 2000 years old olive tree was completely destroyed by the high flames, forests, farmland, animals also burnt alive and thousands of people had to leave their homes as the fires reached their villages.

My heart goes to all the people that lost their farmland, animals and their homes. I hope that there will be measure in the future to prevent these things from happening. We can all play a part to fight climate change for sure, even if it might not be the reason why this fire started in the first place, but for sure the situation could only get worse if we don't change our behavior now.

One of the best dishes in our menu is Malloreddus alla Campidanese.

We recommend pairing the gnocchetti with our sausage ragù made using top quality meat, from our local favorite butcher

Malloreddus, literally translates with little calf. The shape apparently resembles that of a just born calf.

These small pasta shells are the Sardinian equivalent of gnocchi also called gnocchetti.

We make them following traditional recipes, using Italian semolina flour, saffron and water.

Handmade angelottos with a generous filling made with chard, ricotta and pecorino. 😋

Our kit comes with hand-picked sage leaves, butter and grated pecorino cheese.
