Tamarind is pleased to announce the appointment of esteemed chefs, Karunesh Khanna and Manav Tuli, who will lead the restaurant’s incredibly exciting re-launch in October 2018 with a fresh new concept.

Chef Karunesh joins Tamarind as Executive Chef, following a 15-year stint as Executive Chef at a Michelin-starred Indian restaurant. Chef Manav Tuli spent 7 years as Head Chef at a leading Indian restaurant in St James’, and joins Tamarind as Head Chef.

Tamarind Mayfair to reopen later this year with a 'private club' feel Michelin-starred restaurant Tamarind of Mayfair is undergoing a major refurbishment and will have ‘an innovative new look’ when it reopens in the autumn.

Tamarind was the first Indian restaurant to win a Michelin star and this year we are starting a new chapter with a reinvented approach to the menu and brand new interiors by Sagrada. We look forward to welcoming you late summer.
