Ooooooh! It’s time to announce our Sunday Roast has RETURNED 🤩

We’ve spent weeks tinkering to get it right, and we’re confident you’re going to love it. We’re doing two meat and a veggie option every Sunday (gluten-free if required), and ALL our roasts come with roasties, parsnips, carrots, garlic broccoli, creamed leeks, a Yorkshire pudding & proper homemade gravy ✊

Our meat option has an extra treat… beef and bone marrow bonbons 🔥🔥

We’ve been working with Carbon Neutral Britain to become carbon neutral… results just in, we’ve done it 🌱

Over the last few months, we’ve looked at how much energy we use, how far the team travels to work, where our suppliers source their goods and how much water waste we create. All the things we can’t cut down, we’ve offset to be carbon friendly ♻️👋

It turns out 78% of our team are Lewisham residents, 100% of our electricity is renewable, we recycled 1.5 tonnes of cardboard last year, and converted two tonnes of food waste into green energy with ReFood UK.

We’re not perfect, and there’s more work to do, but we’re doing our best with good intentions ✌️

After reopening this week, we’ve got a lot to be thankful for. Firstly, thank you to the 346 lovely people who backed our suggestion to pedestrianise Coulgate Street on the Commonplace platform back in May last year. You gave an idea life. Thank you Lewisham Council for listening and making things happen. Your road closure helped save our business and protect 27 local jobs 🤯 Huge thank you to our fantastic team for being resilient during lockdown and coming back strong. Serious gang gang. Thank you to the local bloggers who promote the independents in Brockley - your support is a massive help 💯 Thank you to the 424 bookings and the 1309 guests who joined us this week 🏆🏆 And lastly, thank you to everyone who’s been supporting their local.. whoever it is.
