The coffee shop is looking for a deli chef! We are after an eager and energetic individual with a knack for creative thinking and experience in cooking and prepping items such as artisan sandwiches, breakfast croissants and baps, salads, seasonal quiches, soups, homemade jams, pickles, kimchee, etc. You will be working in line with our Head Chef to provide our customers with high-quality products that they can rely on!
As you will have the main responsibility for the cafe food, we expect you to have some kitchen experience and preferably have worked in a cafe/deli before. Your roles will include maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, reducing food waste, inventory and stock check, ordering and receiving through our suppliers, working in a timely fashion and being creative and resourceful with menu items. First and foremost, we are looking for someone who has an independent work ethic and works well with our lovely team, and is looking to take on new challenges with us!
This role pays £12 p/h with early morning shift starts. The hours are 20-25 hours per week, with possibility for increase as the business grows. Great part time position with afternoon / evenings off.
