Academy of East London (AEL) is highly committed for protecting your (students) information/data whenever you (students) have used our services. We collect your personal information via telephone conversation, SMS, WhatsApp, website links form, emails, letters, in person provided, etc. AEL is legally committed to safeguarding your personal information to use these information’s in line in order to make application & admission matters for your proposed course to AEL’s Partner Universities based on your preferences & entry recruitments.

1. Which data/information will be collected by Academy of the East London (AEL)? AEL will collect students’ personal information and documents based on the AEL’s partner Universities entry requirements prior to make application for students’ proposed courses. But it is generally:
a) Full Name; b) Date of birth; c) Gender preferences; d) Nationality, e) Recent proof of address (No more than 3 months old); e) Telephone number; f) Email address; h) Employment details (Industry, position, duration); i) Relevant academic qualifications; j) CV, etc.

2. How Long AEL will retain student’s personal information/data? AEL will carefully hold students’ personal information to us based on the necessary for the requested services activity and your personal data will be used based on your consent. Generally, we do not reserve/hold your personal data longer.

3. Before using students’ information, we take consent for the right of access. If you can request us to amend or update of your information which you have provided to us incorrectly, we amend that information urgent basis based on authenticity. If any of our user student (clients) request to erasure/remove of his/her personal information, we will remove all the information, except the core set of student’s personal data (e.g., name, email address & phone number & unique reference) in order to ensure you that we will not contact to you further in future. As AEL is a student recruitment agent counsellors & Training Institute who recruits students only for AEL’ partner institutes (School, Colleges & Universities). Based on our partner institutes course entry requirements, we normally collect student’s personal information/data described above that meets to our partner institutes’ entry requirements for admission. Therefore, AEL normally collects students’ personal information that suitably meets to AEL’s partner institutes entry requirements for the student’s proposed courses.

6. Will AEL will share my personal information with anybody else? AEL correspondences to AEL’s partner institutes (School, Colleges & Universities) on behalf of the student’s (AEL’s client) course admission matters. We only share student’s personal information to the students’ chosen institutes for their proposed courses’ admissions who are our (AEL) partner institutes.

7. Where and how will AEL store or transfer personal information? Student’s personal data will be stored mainly at United Kingdom according to Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR and EU GDPR; and ICO policy & rules.
